1) I admit I have had plenty of criticism of the present BoD but "not playing by the rules" is certainly not one of them. I would have said, "follow the rules too closely, to be honest". A little more, shall I call it, "flamboyance", would have suited me better. That said, I have no problem with a lack of flamboyance, just the (apparent) inactivity when information would have been helpful. I am sure they could have given more but chose not to simply because there was no requirement under the rules. 2) (Mice) "" Its one of those dilemmas though you don't really want to kill them but you don't want them in your home."" Get a humane trap, put some chocolate/soap/peanut butter (Mice in different areas prefer different foods, and yes, soap is a food to them) in it and keep checking it. Drive the little blighters 4 miles away and release into a dry stone wall. Some mice deserve more consideration than some people. BTW, I don't understand what you can't understand, wonderful thing, the internet. PS have considerable experience of mouse infestation having, many years ago, bought a virtually derelict house on Portland. It now sells for over �200K

You just proved my point, (You do seem to have fallen into your own trap!) you probably argue with yourself. "Arguing with yourself" is actually a legitimate method of applying reason, intelligent people do it all the time to apply the knowledge they have to provide an answer or solution to a situation or problem they face, you will be unaware of this..
