I've got to say I am not in the "Rob Terry should be hung, drawn and quartered" contingent. My view is that if it needs to, justice will catch up with him just as it will for Winnifrith. This annoys certain posters here who are unable to understand that. The facts are though that RT is still free and still running companies, so there you go, I'm certainly not about to lose sleep over it. I'd be surprised if anyone is quick enough to catch him out, (which DOES NOT mean it won't happen... I've been wrong plenty of times before.) frankly, a man who seem to know EXACTLY how far to go. They're about in all walks of life, we do better to learn from them rather than sink into a morass of anger and jealousy. If anyone is to blame here now, surely it is the judge? Same lodge.... or Country Club?

My personal opinion is that if they do make an application to court it will be for an extension to time limits, although of course, S & G must survive that long. Is that why they have separated the UK Division?. S & G left it late in the contracted timescale to notify Watchstone of legal action because if they can go to a hearing with a result from the SFO case that has already gone against Watchstone it should strengthen S & G's case. Personal opinion again, is that the SFO case is of virtually no importance to Watchstone but with S & G I believe it is far more open. It goes to court and nobody can know what the decision will be and it almost becomes a matter of whim! (It doesn't of course, but sides are so polarised each can't see the others point of view, somebody impartial can see it all a lot clearer, so we have to wait and see.) Of course, if S & G do go to court with no action taken against Watchstone by the SFO it would weaken S & G's case, so why risk it? Which puts it back to your question of S & G trying to speed things up.... it really could go either way. Round and round and round and round! BTW, has anybody checked out the name at the end of "our" defence document (Richard Millett QC)? He seems very knowledgeable and experienced indeed. Just to clarify my "Rob Proctor" (CEO Audioboom) remark, he has (IMO) become a victim of circumstance and is guilty of upsetting a certain rather unsavoury character who sometimes does us the favour of living in Greece. I believe in RP's integrity and honesty and certainly his ability and experience and that he is as angry as many investors with the way his new "baby" has been "abused". Anybody listening to yesterday's Audioboom Podcast ( Don't start me on Rob Proctor.. Please!) will have heard Watchstone described as "now making money"... I am unsure of the accuracy of that statement but that is what is said. Me? I'm (hoping and) waiting for the proof. Good Luck to all genuine investors and anybody with the guts to admit they were wrong or have the integrity to apologise for any errors. We all make them.

Lindoser, thanks, (again!) but I have now filtered him. His history tells all anyone wants to know. I have no problem with accurate "Tales from the Past" but his unique memory is truly well off the scale, as he himself has proven. I believe that the remaining three businesses are all at least breaking even now, or very, very close. We've been through Hell here, much of it instigated by British puppets doing the bidding of American masters determined to undermine a bl**dy good business. Selling out now is throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Of course, if they were to get a really good price.... But I bet you... it'll be an American purchaser if it does happen.

About time too! This is the most reassuring event we can have following the lodging of the defence. It shows that there is considerable confidence in Watchstone and its future. Mind you, it could have come sooner, IMO. Anyway, not to get too carried away yet, many a slip between cup and lip and all that, but as ever where this company is concerned... here's hoping!
