Just to apply the opposite to prove the dubious nature of the ruling, if WTG prove to be a good company and an investment company chooses not to invest in them can WTG apply to the same judge that the investment company, "...are failing to exercise sufficient professional optimism" and get a ruling in their favour? Yes, a ridiculous scenario, just like the one that it appears has happened. Of course a short internet article cannot possibly go into all the details but I do feel that particular ruling verges on stupidity. British Justice, the envy of the world!

"? I am frankly astounded that such a nebulous claim can be made by a "lawful" department as a genuine measure of the professional competence of any organisation. So is every other investment company that was invested by that time also to have a respective fine levied against them dependent on the amount they had invested or is this a case of one company being victimised? Would a different "judge" have used the same ambiguous terminology? Personally I suspect not. Perhaps there are grounds for an appeal... I didn't read the whole thing.

The argument will be, "We have returned shareholder value because a high percentage of shares were bought at a figure lower than it presently is". Of course, there will still be investors here in at much higher price and hoping for a return to somewhere around those values. I have bought more on a couple of occasions and I know that, with the current lack of info, there is still a fairly high risk. Personally I consider the SFO virtually a non-event risk wise but the S & G claim may have more strength.

That's a hell of a number, in fact I think it may be the highest I've ever seen for a smallcap like this. Somebody somewhere knows something. Sadly it seems its none of us.

I think they may be referring to the aim having widened from the purely business/profit targets to perhaps very important but less profitable subjects like for example government news agencies that may not pay as well. By having a finger in every pie they are enlarging BOOM's potential. If the market is emerging then I think it may be good to have alternate strategies in place. I could talk about a pro-active BoD, I think most would see my point of view, especially after TWO YEARS for flip's sake, but I am of the opinion you would not be able to accept anything that isn't glorifying the present policy of erosion.
