What's the chances that Sprott might be getting in on the action????

I don't know how the mechanics of that would work HAT but just checked the GGP website and it still shows the following

204,700,000 @ 2.0p (expire August 2019)
11,363,636 @ 2.0p (expire September 2019)

It'll be interesting to see how quickly the website is updated if we reckon the warrants have actually expired.

I don't think they can cancel sells once they have completed - I think (may be wrong) that they are talking about sell orders that are entered but then cancelled before they have a chance to complete - this has the effect of lowering the price. It's perfectly possible this was happening but I'm guessing people with L2 or access to the order book would have been able to see these orders being entered and then cancelled.

I know we were sick of hearing about the warrants last week but one final question - will GGP issue an RNS to indicate they have expired or will they just naturally expire and disappear into the ether?

If Havieron goes the full distance then I personally hope that GGP holds onto their 25/30%.
What's not to like about a steady stream of income over the lifetime of the mine especially as prospector says with the gold price looking likely to continue its current trajectory.

Ideal scenario would be if Firetower could be sold to increase the warchest or if NC were to take an equity stake then funding issues would be forgotten and GH could hang onto our percentage of Hav.

That's fair enough HAT and I agree that the terms of the farm in far outweigh any other I've read recently but the terms are the terms.

If the other player makes a move then we will all see the reasoning behind it but until that happens then NC have to continue to meet the terms to progress.

What's your take on the "New drill holes" shown on the NC presentation? Do you think they are genuine? Surely NC wouldn't doctor an image that they would then include in their presentation.

Hi Speedy,
Remember $5M is the minimum spend - they have to spend $10M to progress to stage 2 and $20M to get the first 40% of Hav so a lot more drilling to be done yet.

I know 10,000 was their initial target but personally I don't think Newcrest will stop at 10,000 or 12,000. Now that they have 4 rigs there I think they will just carry on drilling until they meet their farm-in commitment and carry on straight into stage 2.
I'm not sure if we will get any more drilling updates other than their quarterly updates - we'll have to wait and see.

Let them shake it as much as they want - any LTH who had done any research will sit tight and wait for developments whether that be next week or next month.

Gold and silver are only going one way.
Newcrest need more high grade ore and have accelerated at Hav by 100%.
Black Hills and Firetower drill results due any day.
Panorama ground gravity ongoing and due results.
Paterson Range East ground gravity due to start in August.
