If you look at the Armada prospect it also borders Havieron to the North and the South and I think that's where the posters on the ARV thread are hoping the strike extends.

If you look at the ARV surveys from the links I posted you can see the what they are alluding to in the images.

More activity on the Hotcopper Artemis (ARV) thread last night.

From what I can make out it's about 2.5Km from the centre of Havieron to both the northern and southern borders with the ARV Armada prospects so if they think that mineralisation may continue on the north/south trend that far then happy days for everyone.

I listened just now and noted that he mentioned Australia a couple of times but didn't expand on it
@1.16 talking about the attendance at Beaver Creek he mentioned there's a lot of Australians there this year.
@5.25 says he was in Noosa and there's good stuff in Australia always and gave a knowing nod to the interviewer....

There's real good stuff in Australia and don't we know it.

Anyone spot this thread on the NC board - looks like the Papua New Guinea government want to screw Newcrest by keeping 40% of the gold produced in the Wafi Golpu mine in return for tax breaks. Apparently they have said that if Newcrest is not happy then they will mine it themselves.

Perhaps this is another added incentive for Newcrest to fast track Havieron and look at our other Paterson projects asap.

Hi Daverec, I know who you mean and I'm not going to mention his name apart from he has been active on Twitter again over the latest results - let's leave it at that.
I don't think he is behind the recent flurry of activity on the ARV thread because I recognise some of the posters there as genuine posters who detest the above mentioned (DL).

Agreed Apple - everyone should read everything in its entirety but not many do....

The other point is from the HAD006 extension we now know the mineralisation extends to at least 1270 metres with 17m @ 21g/t from 1153m and the NC diagram still shows that we are open at depth.

This is definitely something that NC & GGP will definitely be privvy to and no doubt it is constantly changing as the log the realtime data from the drillholes as they are progressing....
You never know - maybe we will see something along these lines in the next quarterly update or maybe even next week at the Denver gold forum when Sandeep is standing up in front of the world - it would be an effective time to drop a bombshell!!!

Chartbuster is spot on that the Aussies are keeping a close eye on this and they know that it's a slumbering giant - ready to wake up at any point.

Look at this thread on the Artemis board on Hotcopper - they are literally c*mming in their pants over the results and what it might mean for them - if it means that much to them (and they haven't even put a drill in the ground yet) then what should it be worth to us????

Up to now all the indications are that geologically the "system" at Hav is very similar to Telfer so hopefully there won't be any surprises.

I know we have probably all seen the Sprott research note that was put out on Havieron in January when we only had the results from a handful of holes, but does anyone know why they spent good money commissioning and providing that note???

Would they be likely to issue an updated note now that there is a lot more information available??

I've sent another email to the Sprott weekly wrap-up asking if they have any opinions on GGP since NC released their update this week. Maybe if some other emailed also they might be more prepared to look into GGP and mention it in the podcast.

I guess that's why there is going to be a massive step up in the drilling programme now with GH stating that

"Phase 2 drilling programme initiated, which includes plans for a significant increase in the amount of both step out and infill drilling"

If they can prove up the existing extents alone with infill drilling then we are cooking on gas - if they hit gold on the step-outs then we are going into orbit.

It's only a guestimate on my part so please don't take it as gospel and obviously there is a lot of more infill drilling to do to prove the grade within the cube - but that is what I believe and that's why I'm not selling one and in fact I bought another 700k into my SIPP this morning.

Fair point NTTG - silly question really - first part still stands though. Would GGP be aware if there was a large seller who was constantly reducing or are they as blind to what goes on as us mere mortals.

@5.02 minutes AS asks about the drilling at Firetower and Black Hills and GH says they are still drilling but there should be at least partial results to report soon - wouldn't it be sweet if those results were dropped tomorrow.
