Hi Grizzle - I did read it briefly on HC this morning. It says Rio have until the end of the month to decide whether to proceed???
Winu is going to be interesting - the sat image of the ground looks like swiss cheese - can't see them having done that without good results and there's a lot of results to issue.
Don't think it works like that iPad. NCM are on record as saying they use $1200 gold as their standard when justifying decisions on future investment in mining ops.
They may have revised that upwards in recent months but I think that they will be protecting themselves for downside movement in gold price more than that.
I don't realise the largest find in the last decade was just over 16Moz on China - goes to show how bold the statement from Primorus was that they BELIEVED that Havieron could contain 20Moz+
They will have a lot of egg on face if it isn't at least somewhere near half their estimate.
That would give us an Mcap of somewhere around £175M
Can't see it myself Italian but if that were the case then I'd definitely want GH to hold onto our 25% and carry on to the toll treating phase - we could nearly get that much per year from our share of three profits from the production every year.
What's the process for a consolidation - is it purely an adminstration process? What sort of costs are associated with it?
Apparently a lot of people in North America especially won't even entertain looking at a penny stock so it might open up some news avenues of investment to us.
I'm not expecting to see much happening til the middle of next week as regards the satellite updates. There has been some proper wet and stormy weather going through the area according to the forecast.
If there's anything to report I'll be posting it first thing Saturday.
Only 15 trading days and counting - anyone like to hazard a guess at where the SP might be this time three weeks as we wait patiently for the NCM results??
We've both come at it from different angles but to the same conclusion - if the orebody @ Havieron is similar in "SIZE" to Carrapteena then we are quids in.
I think you are looking at that the wrong way - if the orebody is a similar size to Carrapateena at 292 million tonnes then even at an average of 2g/t equivalent you would be looking at roughly 19 million oz of gold.
I think we'd all be happy with that result - GLA Paddy
Well if it comes out anything like that then we will all be retiring lol. Not too much longer to wait - 3 weeks tomorrow we should get the NCM report just before midnight - I can't imagine anyone will be turning in for an early one that night.
I'm doing "Dry January" but might have to crack out a nice bottle of red that night.
Anyone know when RIO are due to release the results from Winu. I'd imagine if those are good (which I'm guessing they will be) that will give the whole Paterson area another turbo boost.
Might bring RIO back into the equation for our other licences and will the gold price looking likely to continue rising we could be looking at the perfect storm over the next few months.
We're due the results of the two holes @ Warrentina also - again probably won't do much to shift things on their own but maybe a divestment of both Tasmanian projects might be on the cards??
I wonder if we might get an action plan for the drilling that's being mapped out for Scallywag also - hopefully with the support from the Havieron field camp they might be able to get that drilling away earlier in this exploration period that they have in previous years.
All eyes on 30th of Jan though and the big prize - GLA Paddy
