I think you will find that multiple LTH's on here have repeatedly (including myself) said that although it would be nice to see the SP at a higher level that we are not really that bothered.

I hope we don't get any indication of a resource estimate at all - my wish list would be.

More definition of the high grade zones
more hits on the step outs
confirmation of additional resources from NCM
update on stage 3 hopefully

That would make me very happy regardless of what happens with the SP.

I get your sentiment about the impending update but I can't see your logic for the SP to collapse as you say.

Even at Numis 3Moz we are trading below the 4p that they said and you are totally disregarding any potential in our other assets.

While I will obviously be nervous about the content of the update as it approaches I'm completely comfortable with my position and very confident about the outcome for GGP LTH's

I wouldn't just yet Cookie - we all know that the ramping crew will be out in full force next week and regardless of results they will probably sell into the rise.

We're still not seeing massive II buying here yet but they might be sitting in the wings ready to soak all that selling up if the results are as good as we hope.

It might be the next set of results (which will include the new direction drills) in 6 or so weeks that may really light the touch paper.

Anyway as far as I'm concerned the longer it takes for the resource estimate the better for us.

Everyone needs to decide their own strategy and I've been mulling it over and I've decided I'm sticking with my strategy up to now and sitting on my hands regardless of the action next week.

I see NCM getting battered down again last night even though the gold price was pretty stable. They were down 1.9% which seems a lot for a major to drop for apparently no reason.

I'm guessing a lot is riding on these Havieron results for them also.

Nice to see it pushing up again but loads of smaller trades - still no real big institutional buying.

I wonder if we will see any before the update or will they sit on sidelines until after the report??

MS - I don't think we'll have to wait too long to hear about the plans for Scallywag.

I'd say GH is desperate to get one in there ASAP and of it's anything like Havieron we could be expecting a "visual mineralisation" RNS pretty soon after drilling has started.

NCM might move to tie it up before we even see any assays back - they will be all over it like a rash.

Anyone who thinks we are getting sh*te results next week is off their rockers.

I see good consistent intervals, more hits on the step outs, an update on stage 2 progress, am update on infill drilling plans, maybe the commitment to stage 3 (although that's just a formality as far as I'm concerned).

And still this may not fly - I'm sure the rampers will be in full force next week to spike it so they can sell the news as usual - I've decided I'm not selling a bean.

Another presentation to be given in Vancouver tomorrow but this time focusing purely on the Paterson region.

Cracking picture of Havieron om page 13 showing 4 drill rigs and multiple drill pads.

Roll on the 30th - NCM would look like complete and utter numpties to present this tomorrow and then release dud results next week - more confident that ever.

Geordie - Google Cadia while you are at it. Newcrest mine at less than 2g/t there for an AISC of less than $200 per Oz netting then profits of over $1000 per oz.

Just got in and read the RNS and the posts since on here.

IMO it's not bad news but with what we are expecting at Havieron it's perceived as such.

GH would know this and IMO he's getting this release out of the way so we can focus on the main event next week - he alluded to the fact we were waiting for this update in the interview last week.

Market has disregarded this result today and hopefully we will return back to the steady progress up to next Wednesday.

Firetower & Warrentina may still provide a nice Brucie bonus in the future.
