There is no issue with checking prices to buy or to sell. Spoofing is when very large buy or sell orders are put onto the market (and are subsequently deleted before they can be filled) with the intention of manipulating the market price up or down.

IMHO - The significance of the end of May is that Deltic must have evidence of £ 15 million funds (or guarantee). So any deal will need to have a loan (or guarantee attached). If the loan comes from key shareholders then the ownership of Deltic would be considered at a later date vs. alternatives (such as selling the assets to Dana Petroleum).

My point is that (if you like) the 25% of Selene is fully funded (by the Farm-Out) in that the cost to first gas ($ 49 million is fully funded). If fully funded there is no risk for Deltic.

If you pay £ 15 million to partially fund Pensacola, it is not de-risked (as it would be in a farm-out) and you kick the can down the road until a farm-out can be achieved at a later date.

Meanwhile: The Symphony Tide is heading for the Valaris 123 - possibly for resupply or relocation.

If the farm in is so much cheaper at Pensacola, and its such a good asset - why are the potential partners so hesitant.
