Seems like they have sounded out potential investors and for the go ahead it needed JB out with a suitable named replacement and the placing price at circa 0.5p. Hence the news today.

Now the safety net value of those highly discounted options at 1p starts to make sense.

Placing done at 0.007 Aussie Dollar which equates to circa 0.35p.

Short term I would advice to be wary of that joint broker announcement from a few weeks ago. Todays news could be the pump attempt before an imminent placing? For the longer term it seems it could be worth taking a small risk/reward position here. DYOR

The lamp rubbing has half worked as AGEOS has reappeared today and posted on another stock, so it’s good news that he is still active on LSE. So lets keep rubbing harder on the lamp and hopefully he will post on EEE again soon.

Agreed Omni………Simply take a look at the Canadian grown-ups for setting a great example. There is differing points of view and debate on their forum but it always remains polite and laser focused on Company aspects. Also notice the absence of posts on there about the relative sizes of posters holdings (That’s cos it’s just NOT INTERESTING).

The Canadian’s must look over at most of this board’s antics and shake their heads in disbelief, particularly when we have a stock price that has trebled here in the past month or so.

Unfortunately and embarrassingly as a fellow Brit here, I can foresee your plea will fall mostly on deaf ears because most Brits love having the last word. But we shall see, as hope springs eternal……

Personally I much prefer SRB to MTL.

Serabi has a low cost/risk approach lined up in Brazil towards significantly increasing their production in the coming years, whilst MTL seems to me to have quite a high cost/risk approach being lined up at widespread locations towards increasing their production in the coming years.

Having watched sadly at the recent events at Hummingbird (oh how we miss the times when Bushy would come onto the Serabi board to deramp here telling us how bad was our investment versus his chosen baby…..justice has recently been served on him) so I am particularly cautious now about the risk profile for Mining Companies expansion plans when assessing for my investments.

Anyway that’s my opinion for what it’s worth, but each to their own and DYOR.

Don’t think anyone has mentioned this here yet today but after umpteen RNS issued over the past years by OMI with same title of “Columbia Update” we get today a small but very important change of OMI providing the market with a great improvement to the RNS title, namely to be “Positive Drill Results Continue at Anza”.

This is a very positive development and from reading the Canadian bulletin board (ceo.ca) I believe it has happened as a direct result of one of the Canadian investors (@KilconaVC) speaking with Mgt recently and highlighting to them that continually using the same vanilla title of Colombia Update was causing them to miss out on getting more potential investors for the OMI stock, as many people just use the titles on the RNS daily list to decide whether an RNS is worth opening up to have a read and ascertain what is the published news and act upon it.

Apparently there are some restrictions as to what you can say in an RNS title for the AIM market, but it looks like Brad has quickly looked into this matter and come up with todays new RNS title wording that satisfies regulatory requirements whilst giving a much more positive message that hopefully has caused some new people to read the news and come on board the OMI train today both in UK and shortly in Canada when the TSXV opens shortly. It’s another good sign of how Brad has really upped his game in recent times. Bodes well and long may it continue !!

Surprised they haven’t tried to pump the SP beforehand with Lulu Creek drill results……unless there are not finding much?

Very civilised bulletin board over in Canada and as TSX(V) is a miner focused stock exchange (way more mining stocks than we have here in the UK) then they tend to get a high % of technically knowledgeable posters. There are some good guys actively following OMI such as @KilconaVC (who also has an active Twitter (X) account). So it’s well worth monitoring their posting contents for the UK / Canada dual listed mining stocks like OMI.

Nice to hear amongst the Q&A session that Serabi is exposed to the full upside on the 2024 surge in the gold price (I.e. not hedging) and that dividends are potentially on Mgt’s radar.

Thanks Dave this was well spotted and I concur with your findings about the mis-labelling of the tunnel designation numbers within the RNS dated 22nd Oct 2024.

Checking your findings has given me reason to look again more closely at the contents of the two RNS (22 Oct and 02 Dec) in particular the various Figures. I have noticed something interesting about PEP013 that can lead to some conjecture about what its assay results may reveal shortly . Whilst we are informed that PEP013 is using the same drill pad as PEP012 the Fig 4 of latest RNS visually shows the PEP013 collar (blue circle) position to be located at circa 5 meters South Westerly from the PEP012 collar position (note: the preliminary drill hole details table given at bottom of the RNS states a delta of 2m on the easting and 3m on the northing).

This i think is interesting because when you look across at Fig 5 of the 22nd Oct RNS you can see that this PEP013 collar positioning matches closely with where a high gold grade surface channel sampling line is located (refer to the 9 purple dots running vertically just to south west of the tunnel). This would seem to indicate that they are keen to capture this channel sampling line footprint area into the PEP013 drill length, hence to give a high grade finding being envisaged at the top end of the drilling. This should help to offset if there is any lowering of gold grade that gets encountered at the bottom end of the PEP013 drill length close to the other tunnel location as you had intimated may be the situation in your post. We shall see the outcome on this matter when the PEP013 assay result is shortly published.

Regarding your query about them only assaying for gold and not for any other elements (silver etc) this aspect gets mentioned in a recent Orosur tweet as provided below. Gold is the key play here based on previous PEP results whereby found silver max was circa 5g/t & zinc upto 0.15%.

👀 Quiet here…..Slowly slowly catchy monkey….has been rising daily recently with small % increases (maybe there is an II adding, shorts closing, etc?) so as to be kept under the radar. Bigger % SP move up being seen today, so perhaps some retail investors are now catching on….interesting 🤔

Rights issue……this article warns that there could be heavy selling pressure of the stock once the new shares are issued (10th December ?) as many of the creditors did not support the RI and they will likely be promptly offloading them. Hence looks best to keep a watching brief in the run up to year end and maybe dip a toe in when a bottoming SP is being observed for a potential recovery trade into the new year. In meantime worth doing some research on the Company and it’s situation/ future prospects.
