Yes for most miners (who don’t need ongoing dilutive funding), But unfortunately there is no great comeback (yet) for the non revenue producing explorers…..with the odd exception like OMI.

Don’t have the Telegraph subscription to read the whole story so only seeing the story headline.

Based on the headline my question would be what has it got to do with HOC ? I doubt miniskirts are part of the PPE attire of the workforce at their mining facilities, so should be no impact 🤷‍♂️

This intraday RNS issued just as the SP reached new lows of 0.35 - 0.4 looks to be the Mgt in panic mode to throw the market a bone to try and stem the ongoing SP decline due to the ongoing major sell off of stock recently with very limited buying liquidity available to absorb it. Probably this RNS creates a small improvement in SP but it is likely to be short lived if the big seller keeps offloading. With the ongoing political developments in South Korea it likely causes uncertainty whether the decision making on the MTUP permit will happen anytime soon. Even the timelines being mentioned in the RNS are unclear with them saying in one paragraph that they expect a decision within this month whilst elsewhere in another paragraph they are saying “hope that we can provide positive updates in this first quarter of the year”. That’s already looking vague to me as it looks to give them 2+ months worth of wriggle room. Anyway I will continue watching what the wonderful Aidan comes up with as the months continue to pass by.

It’s my understanding from your previous Canadian forum postings that you had a late 2024 conversation with OMI management to discuss many of the “cons” that you outline here to pursue to have them timely resolved wherever practicable. For example how they should more positively headline title their RNS releases, etc. This particular “con” had seemed to be showing good resolution results a few RNS ago, which was indicating that they had really listened to you and were taking some positive action, but for the latest RNS it has disappointingly reverted back to their previous vanilla flavour norm of “Colombia Update”.

It hence looks like it’s necessary if you have the opportunity in your near term diary to have a follow-up 2025 conversation with management to remind of the “con” issues that are still being observed that needs to be pursued for their timely resolution to benefit Company shareholders.

It would also be beneficial for other OMI investors reading here who could likewise potentially influence management to reinforce your message outlined herein, by adding their voices using the various available methods of making contact with Management (e.g. via investor relations. InvestorQ&A forums, etc) regarding these same important issues.

We are still at less than two months since the DEAL was concluded with MMA to return Anza, Colombia to be 100% back into Orosur’s ownership.

Since then Brad & team has proceeded to continue the exploration of PEPAS with an optimal methodical fast track approach that has already resulted in seven excellent new drill results reported via RNS, a pre Xmas investor webinar held for investor relations, added significant institutional investor to the Company share register and published many positive tweets on X informing of the ongoing site works progress etc.

Personally I have never seen an exploration story positively unfold any faster than what OMI has achieved in this recent short time period. It looks like it will be continuing at pace based on the latest RNS.

Meanwhile today someone (guess who…LOL) on this board has said..…”Brad needs to come out from hiding in the basement and get some deals done” Funny Joke…..Haa Haa Haa 🙄

This interesting sentence in the RNS today really rocks the boat:

“A geological picture is beginning to emerge of the current body of mineralisation sitting within the KEEL of two roughly parallel faults that converge at depth with a southerly plunge”

Leaves us dreaming of just how big this ship’s bottom shape of high grade gold is going to be found to be……..

Based on this excellent RNS content we should be fully expecting upcoming news of a second drill rig to be mobilised to PEPAS in the near future, which was already previously intimated by Brad at the December investor webcast event as potentially to be happening in the New Year.

Two rigs would best support accelerating their continued drilling in the known mineralisation zone, considering they are getting the assay results turnaround so quickly which is allowing ongoing rapid refinement of the future drilling program and to support performing some scout drilling out to the north based on recent surface mapping, etc that Brad sounds excited about.

Hopeful of us getting an interview with Brad this week where he can talk some more about the latest developments. Would be great to see him on a serious mining forum like crux investor.

Using these RNS contents to better visualise on the map that both PEP-010 and PEP-011 were located significantly remote from the currently established mineralised zone of PEPAS:

- For PEP-010 its collar location was a very significant 168 meters to the north of the PEP-015 collar location and indeed it was a significant 106 meters to the north of the collar location of PEP-001. They drilled PEP-010 in pretty much a southerly direction (Azimuth = 190.4) but we have not been told the length to which they drilled it. However based on the stated dip (-50.3) and good ole trigonometry it would have already been quite deep down below ground if/when it reached to the same northing value as the PEP-001 collar location and it would have been very deep down below ground if/when it reached the same northing value as the PEP-015 collar location.

- For PEP-011 its collar location was a very significant distance to the East of both PEP-015 collar location (with PEP-011 being 198 meters more easterly) and PEP-001 collar location (with PEP-011 being 189 meters more easterly). The Azimuth was 255 so it was drilled in roughly a westerly direction. Again we don’t know the drill length that was reached, but with the dip again being at -50.3 then if/when it reached to the same eastings values as the PEP-001 and PEP-015 collar locations then it would have been very deep below ground.

What’s probably most important for readers going forward is that these details for PEP-010 and 011 would appear to show that they have no direct relevance to what will be found in the latest drill holes not yet reported (I.e. PEP-016, 017, etc).

Regarding the final two holes drilled by MMA, namely PEP-010 & 11. Their results were summarised in the Operational Update RNS dated 2nd March 2023……”neither hole intersected substantial mineralisation”.

Hi Aaron….your posted thoughts for the PEP016 potential results are much appreciated. Just to note that I think you had a small typo (namely, that the collar of PEP016 is positioned roughly parallel WEST of the collars of PEP012/13 rather than EAST as you had stated).

Anyway my main purpose of this reply is to add to your thoughts by drawing attention to what I believe are some pertinent details for the collar positioning of PEP016 that are contained within Figure 3 of the 22nd Oct 2024 RNS which has likely gone mainly unnoticed by readers when first published as most were focused on the very interesting details of the two abandoned artisanal tunnels.

What I want to highlight is the significant amount of surface sampling results that run out to about 100 meters WESTERLY from the Tunnel A location on this Figure 3. Most significantly at the most western point of this sampling there is a surface sample measured at what appears to be a very high grade 79.6 g/t Au (not easy to read). This sample position is seen to be almost directly due south (circa 40 meters) of the PEP016 collar position. Furthermore on Figure 3 we can also see that if you go directly due northwards by about circa 60 meters from the PEP016 collar position there is a standalone surface sample found at 3.74 g/t Au.

These two westerly surface sample findings also gives me quite a positive feeling like you have gotten about what the outcome for the upcoming assay result of PEP016 will reveal to us all.

Bullet 3 regarding the forbearance agreement extension….it was extended until 13th December which elapsed several days ago. Silence from PFC so far so perhaps the actual financing news rather than kicking the can will be coming imminently before the holiday season?

500K US Dollars is about 400K GBP at the current exchange rate of 1.27 USD = 1 GBP.

this x posting seems likely to have been said with a view from brad that it will likely come true (he will already know a lot more than we do about pep015/16) …..if it does not come true then this new investor would likely take the view that brad is either taking the **** or being sarcastic which really would not be appreciated. hence i would take the x posting as a positive hint as to what is shortly to come.
