RE: Glanbia plc 3rd quarter6 Nov 2022 09:29
Oke, this is my somewhat belated reply to your response last week, apologies
Its just another (in case we don't have enough already) example of how detached from the market THG has become, Glanbia is a good read across with many areas of overlap product wise, also closer to home (Ireland).
Commentary around ESG now becoming standard in many company releases, this is part of their headline bullet points of a quarterly update.
· Revised ESG ambition for a 50% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions by 2030 (previously a 31% reduction);
I view ESG as being a major catalyst for Ingenuity over the next 12-24 months, companies which have not already planned and invested in meeting future ESG targets will have very few options but to outsource part of their operations.
Companies can opt in to Plant a Tree promotions helping meet carbon neutral targets, owned and operated service by THG eco https://moretrees.eco/
..or benefit from plastic recycling with Preston Plastics, Three Counties Recycling, both THG eco owned https://www.prestonplastics.co.uk/
None of this activity (or investment) is yet recognised, not to mention the foresight of management well before it became a necessity.
