There are huge money flows into China as evidenced by the number of outside companies investing, Warren Buffet has just sunk $4.5b into a Taiwanese chip manufacture - whilst not Chinese it suggests he is not expecting any surprises in the region.

davey, as you know from my past posts I have turned bullish on China/Hutchmed, this is down to the reasons already given but also the strong underlying momentum of such a large and generally affluent populous.

The US despite its chip embargos is heavily dependant on China for many things which tends to limit what actions they can take, have a look at this news release on battery tech -

International companies are investing heavily in China, at some point valuations will catch-up.

The above is without any corporate activity by industry pharma, the layout and general tone of the recent presentation looks to me like a 'for sale' sign summarising pipeline progress to date.

As always, do your own research but would be happy to engage with a debate on this as I feel the media is a little bit skewed to sensationalism (now there's a thing :-)
