TRADING UPDATES: Secure Trust sells debt assets; new Brickability JV

Secure Trust Bank PLC - Solihull, England-based savings accounts and lending services provider - Exits debt purchase market and Debt Managers Services Ltd arm sells portfolio of loans to Intrum AB. Cash sum for deal to be determined by value of loan on deal completion. Gross value of portfolio as of September 30 was GBP84.7 million. Forecast cash consideration should deal be sealed on May 31 in GBP79.7 million.

Brickability Group PLC - Bridgend, Wales-based construction materials distributor - Forms joint venture with La Perla Participaties BV and Harold Kock. JV will be focused on manufacture of clay roof tiles through jointly-owned entity Schermbecker Building Products GmbH. Will operate in Germany. Once fully operational, JV is expected to produce roughly 45,000 tonnes of clay roof tiles per year for distribution markets in UK and Europe. Brickability to hold 50% interest following a EUR500,000 investment.

Hardide PLC - Oxfordshire-based advanced surface coating technology developer - Expects first half sales to rise 40% annually. Company ends its financial year on September 30. "Earlier this month we were particularly pleased to announce developments in the power generation sector with the first production set of gas turbine blades coated and delivered to Ansaldo Energia. The second set of turbine blades is due to be received later this month and further sets of blades are due to be received throughout this year," Hardide says.

Oracle Power PLC - London-based power and natural resource project developer with projects focused in Pakistan - Appoints H&P Advisory Ltd as financial adviser and consultant to Oracle in respect to potential green hydrogen project in Pakistan. Company says: "H&P will focus exclusively on the project, providing strategic advisory and financial services to realise its full potential for the benefit of Oracle stakeholders, including the preparation of a valuation model."

Pembridge Resources PLC - London-based copper-focused mining company - Says Minto Metals Corp makes first repayment to Pembridge for CAD4 million, about GBP million, loan. Minto has paid CAD500,000, with further payment of same amount to be made by end of March.

Empyrean Energy PLC - oil & gas explorer and producer with assets in China, Indonesia and US - Secures China Oilfield Services Ltd Nh9 drill rig for Jade well at Block 29/11 permit, offshore China. On Monday, company said China Oilfield completed well site survey required over Jade prospect drilling location.

UK Oil & Gas PLC - London-based oil and gas company focused on operations in the UK - Updates on appeal process for Loxley gas project consent. An inspector submits report to UK Secretary of State to assist in ruling. "The planning inspectorate has also advised that they expect the SoS to issue his decision on or before 7 June 2022," UK Oil adds. In January, UK Oil said its appeal against Surrey County Council's refusal to consent for Loxley project was recovered by central government.

Touchstone Exploration Inc - Calgary, Canada-based upstream oil and gas company - Says Trinidad & Tobago approves five-year extension of exploration period for Ortoire Licence to July 31, 2026. Touchstone must drill three well to minimum depths of 6,000 vertical feet before end of term. "The three exploration wells are in addition to the five previous wells drilled to date on the property. Similar to the previous minimum work program, we will be responsible for 100% of the drilling, completion and testing costs for the three additional exploration wells," company adds.

Getech Group PLC - Leeds, England-based provider of geoscience data - Says subsidiary H2 Green Ltd lands deal with Highland Council in Scotland for creation of regional network of green hydrogen hubs. "This infrastructure will accelerate the decarbonisation of the Highlands council area, the largest administrative unit in the United Kingdom covering almost a third of Scotland," Getech says. Highland Council will contribute initial GBP100,000.

Brandshield Systems PLC - London-based cybersecurity solutions provider - Reports findings from "disruption programme" undertaken alongside Pharmaceutical Security Institute. Duo had aim of "monitoring, detecting, and removal of online threats". "Over the 12-month period, BrandShield took down over 850 rogue pharmacies across websites and social media, 4,000 social media posts, and more than 14,000 fraudulent marketplace listings, where a minimum estimated value of USD1.8 million of counterfeits was removed," company says. On Monday, Brandshield said it secured a new client in online gaming field. Brandshield was picked to reduce risks of social media impersonation, phishing sites, online traffic diversion and trademark infringements.

Good Energy Group PLC - London-based renewable energy supplier - Says Zap-Map teams with UK car breakdown cover specialists RAC. Tie-up will allow RAC members to get their electric vehicles charged "as quickly as possible".

Sure Ventures PLC - London-based investment and venture capital company - Says AI investee Getvisibility seals EUR10 million funding round. Raises new equity from venture capital firms Alpha Intelligence Capital and Fortino Capital. Existing investors, Sure Ventures included, also participate. Sure invests EUR310,773. Pires Investments PLC, meanwhile, invests EUR50,000. Pires made original Getvisibility investment of EUR250,000 in March 2020.

One Media iP Group PLC - digital music rights acquirer - Acquires licensor's share of the royalties to the Orbital Digital Ltd catalogue of rights. Catalogue includes "several thousands of recordings". "The catalogue ranges from classical through to Dance/Hip Hop and features a wide range of artists such as; Jose Carreras, Jo Jo Adams, Kool & the Gang, Irish Tenor Trio, Alexandra O'Neal, Joe Strummer, Sid Vicious, Chic, Lee Perry, The Lambrettas, Dread Filmstone, Sex Pistols, Suketu, Col Abram, Psy-Co-Billy, Rachel Porter's all female Orchestra, Ebn ozn," One Media says.

DP Eurasia NV - master franchisee of Domino's Pizza brand in Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan and Georgia - Says there has been no material disruption to its operations so far. "Trading from its 188 stores in Russia continues, and the group remains dedicated to the communities it serves," it asserts. DP Eurasia does, however, say it felt it is "prudent" to limit any further investment into its operations. It also has suspended royalty payments from its Russian operations. Will continue monitoring situation and provide further update with annual results, set to be published on April 5.

Belvoir Group PLC - Lincolnshire, England-based residential property lettings and sales company - Acquires Mr and Mrs Clarke Ltd for GBP200,000. MMC is a concierge-style personal estate agency which has a network of 10 licensed partners, mostly based around Warwickshire, South Wales, the Midlands and North London in England.
