IN BRIEF: Rentokil finance chief joins Watches of Switzerland board

Watches of Switzerland Group PLC - Leicester, England-based watch and jewellery retailer - Paul Edgecliffe-Johnson, currently chief financial officer at Crawley, England-based pest control specialist Rentokil Initial PLC, joins Watches of Switzerland's board as a non-executive director. Watches will also appoint him as chair of its audit & risk committee on March 1. Edgecliffe-Johnson has previously served as CFO of Flutter Entertainment PLC; CFO & group head of strategy at InterContinental Hotels Group PLC; a corporate finance associate director at HSBC Holdings PLC; and a non-executive director at Schroders PLC.

Watches of Switzerland's Chair Ian Carter comments: "I am delighted to welcome Paul to the board. Paul has extensive experience in both the luxury consumer segment and the US market. His breadth and wealth of experience will be a valuable addition to the board. We look forward to working with him as the group continues to focus on the delivery of its strategy."

Current stock price: 498.00 pence, up 0.4% on Thursday in London

12-month change: down 4.8%
