Tufton Oceanic Assets Ltd - Guernsey, UK-based investment company focused on second-hand commercial vessels - Sells the container ships Candy and Echidna for a total of USD21 million. The realised net internal rate of return will be 74%, Tufton says. Both ships were acquired in January 2021 for USD13.8 million. This is the company's ninth divestment. While it normally aims to hold investments for longer, Tufton says, it will realise assets where additional value can be generated.
Current stock price: USD1.29, up 0.4% in London.
