EXECUTIVE CHANGES: New Anpario board member Kate Allum to become chair

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Monday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Anpario PLC - Nottinghamshire-based manufacturer of natural sustainable animal feed additives - Peter Lawrence will retire as non-executive director at annual general meeting on June 17, with Kate Allum, a newly appointed non-executive director, to become the new chair. Allum, who joined the Anpario board at the start of February, was head of European Supply Chain at McDonald's Corp and also chief executive of First Milk, a UK farmer-owned dairy co-operative. Anpario also says Matthew Robinson will take over immediately as senior independent director from Richard Wood, who retired from the board on March 31.

Character Group PLC - Surrey, England-based toy, games and gifts maker - Hires Carmel Warren as independent non-executive director, starting immediately. Warren was chief financial officer of AIM-listed data platform provider D4T4 Solutions PLC from 2015 until 2019. Recently, she has been interim CFO for Universe Group PLC, which retail management, payment and loyalty systems and also is AIM-listed.

Remote Monitored Systems PLC - London-based survey and inspection services provider - Appoints Gareth Cave and Felicity Sartain as non-executive directors, effective immediately. Sartain will be an independent non-executive director, while Cave is founder & chair of RMS subsidiary Pharm2Farm Ltd. Sartain is chief operating officer of Closed Loop Medicine.

Petropavlovsk PLC - gold producer in Russia - Appoints Mikhail Irzhevsky as independent non-executive director, effective from Friday last week. Irzhevsky is deputy CEO for Legal Affairs at Russian Direct Investment Fund.

TomCo Energy PLC - oil project development in US focused on using new technology to unlock unconventional hydrocarbon resources - Hires Louis Castro as non-executive director, effective immediately. Castro was CFO of Nigeria offshore producer Eland Oil & Gas PLC until 2016. Eland subsequently was acquired by Seplat Petroleum Development Co PLC in December 2019. Castro currently is chair of South America-focused gold explorer Orosur Mining Inc. He also is a non-executive director of Tekcapital PLC, Stanley Gibbons Group PLC and Predator Oil & Gas Holdings PLC.

Christie Group PLC - London-based professional services firm - Hires Simon Herrick as independent non-executive director, starting May 1. Herrick is a non-executive director of London-listings Biome Technologies PLC, Ramsdens Holdings PLC and FireAngel Safety Technology Group PLC. Christie also on Monday said it swung to a pretax loss of GBP5.1 million in 2020 from a profit of GBP4.0 million in 2019, as revenue dropped 46% to GBP42.2 million from GBP78.0 million. The company declared no dividend for 2020, versus 1.25 pence in 2019.

Inchcape PLC - London-based automotive distributor and retailer - Hires Nayantara Bali as non-executive director, starting at May 27 annual general meeting. Bali is co-owner of ANV Consulting, a boutique management consultancy specializing in data analytics, Prior to this, Bali was with US consumer product firm Procter & Gamble Co for more than 28 years, holding senior positions based in Singapore, Thailand and India. Bali is based in Singapore, where she is non-executive director of telecommunications company Starhub.

National Express Group PLC - Hires Carolyn Flowers as independent non-executive director, starting June 1. Flowers has been an transport executive in the public and private sector, including being a presidential appointee at the US Federal Transit Administration. She currently is a partner and managing principal at InfraStrategies LLC.
