First Tin PLC Share Price (1SN)

Closed at 10.9p. There has been a recent correction in hard commodity prices but this has suffered more than most.

Yes we trust the make up of the institutional investors and share their views on the end game but the relatively long path to it asks the question of whether holding funds elsewhere until such time is the right strategy. Then again it is now priced attractively so who knows what’s next. However, what I will say is the quoted price all day was 11.5 but buys were sub this price, the same as every day last week. The daily market pricing here is a mess.

Right now the company is basically in holding mode waiting for permits. I'd like to see more shareholder engagement/more sophisticated marketing of the company, but having met the CEO he struck me as the steady type who isn't nearly as much of a promoter as some junior mining CEOs are. I think he's also confident that, given the MetalsX backing, the size of the resource, and the tin supply/demand outlook, he'll be able to get the financing when he needs it, so maybe he doesn't feel as much need to put on a song and a dance as some CEOs do.

At the end of the day, we just have to trust that with MetalsX having a 30% shareholding and representation on the board, we're on to a winner here. You'd assume they're confident around the resource, engineering, and permitting potential.

Strong buy at these levels, agreed.

I remember 1SN trading at 5p even after MetalsX had bought 30% @ 6p. We're now much much further de-risked yet once again the SP is temporarily going nowhere. Never look at gift horse in the mouth

Ripe for a take-over. Not much Tin around outside China and the Price of Tim just keeps rising.

The last two updates coming from the company are very generic, almost like they have asked the intern to come up with a PowerPoint presentation. There is little to galvanise or entice new investors. It is mundane output with little to inspire.

We have now fallen back to 11p with momentum stuck in reverse. The positive is the ever increasing tin price the negative is a company struggling to keep the story in the public domain knowing timelines are not going to get the retail investor biting. Obviously the valuation reflects that and is a given when investing here but if you are going to do a presentation make it at least a bit more informative, analytical and dare I say adding value.

This is very much a long haul hold. Saying that the lost opportunity cost of holding may be mounting up. Anyway good luck
