FID 2024 was a target not a "deadline" anyway.

This is a discussion board not an echo chamber and all opinions, be they positive or negative,should be heard as long as they are relevant & not offensive,rude, or overly repetitive as Godders formerly was .

So the new poster ( which is probably Ole Godders) says FIDs slipped a year and that rkh cannot keep timlines.

Well, to be fair, I see where he's coming from but it isn't Rkh who call FID, it's Navitas and they haven't said anything new so officially, its still FID 2023 but I don't think it would surprise or bother

many If FID was Q1/2 next year as there's a tremendous amount of work to get the project to FID and there are some obstacles on funding & companies that will not participate to overcome, so it will take the time it takes and I fully expect Navitas to overcome all the hurdles and deliver FID, be it Q4 this year or Q1/2 next year.

Rockhopper's in a pretty good place at the moment and the future looks bright with the 96% chance of OM coming in and FID on SL within the next 6 to 12months.

Sure, it all takes time and a lot of patience is required but it is happening, I have no doubt about that and the first real sign will be the funding announcement.

That's when things start to get serious and Rkh becomes a real investment and not just a pipe dream but until then the shareprice is not worth looking at as nothing significant will happen to the shares until we get some major news.

McCloughry, again I agree with you re the use of "And". I had not even considered that angle. I agree I'm looking at the worst case scenario but I've been burned too many times and I'm jaded.

Simon Thomas actually said that he hoped that by this time next year, we would have both the money from Ombrina Mare Arbitration and seen FID.

I do not agree with you that his statement constitutes any sort of announcement that FID is being delayed until next year.
