It's a good start for Mark, but I bet most of those commissions were already in the pipeline before he started as CEO. Like jenashon says, hopefully he can grow the company by producing more. With his connections it would be good to grow our market exposure and expand into the US, that's where the big bucks are at, especially with the likes of Netflix and Amazon, to name just a couple!
Personally like the RNS announcing £5m+ new business with the majors
New commissions + repeat commission + repeatable commissions
Europe and USA taking interest
Great start in short order from MB
It's interesting what you say BMR regarding sp performance. The board felt they could just buy up other production companies & grow revenues. It may work for a restaurant group like pizza express or The Casual Dining Group. We all hoped that was the answer, Zinc bought Reef, & that was basically Richard Farnborough & his team, then Richard Farnborough left !! Was reef Richard Farnborough? Zinc have done well with Tern (so let's hope Zinc keep Tern happy). It looks like Mark Browning has a different approach, he created the team at ITNP & was successful - they grew by producing content. I would expect Mark to build a team at Zinc to produce more & more content & for Zinc to become the go to company for the broadcasters.
Inbound
I've been looking at the SP performance since the beginning of 2018... It started out at 0.85p and finished 2018 down at 0.38p (-55.29%).
We started 2019 at 0.38p and we're now at 0.24p (-36.84% YTD). So we're now down by 71.76% since the start of 2018...
Not great figures, but when you consider our revenue and order book has been growing in that period, and we now have ex ITN boss, Mark Browning as our CEO, you've got to fancy this growing substantially from here. I'm still hopeful we can get to 2.5p so Shenners can throw his party! A £34m MC should be achievable with £3-£5m profits??
I bought some more just under 0.25. I can't work out why people are selling after that news. I think this is just the start of more to come!
Got in at 25 but still folk are selling at 24 and a bit. Why wait until big contracts and then sell at nearly all time lows??
For Monday's bottom trawlers, but a long way to go for the LTH's. Hopefully, a start for a bit of a recovery. GLA
BUY THE DIP
...
Yes, £5m worth of commissions with a MC of £3.3m!
Work amounting to £ 5m .current market cap £3.3m.Lets see this back to 1p for starters .some of many to come imo.Deeply undervalued company.
Nice start for the new CEO.
I wouldn't say buy the dip, I'd call it more of a fall. A well timed buy here will see plenty of profit.
options above current sp, BUY THE DIP!
Nice tweet about ITN Mark. A lot of us are in here for ‘the long haul’ and hoping you can repeat the same success at Zinc. All the best
Has taken a massive massive RISK joining Zinc Media, Why leave ITNP - http://www.itnproductions.co.uk/television/productions/
Mark built ITNP, he certainly knows something about TV Productions, unlike our last CEO who joined Zinc as a number cruncher !! (David did his best but he was an accountant ) So WHY WHY WHY has Mark left ITNP & joined Zinc ??? I really believe Mark has a Vision & looks at Zinc as the Vehicle to carry out that vision . I have just listened to the media show "The Story of Netflix with Ted Sarandos" https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m00051kw -interesting listening !! Mark Browning will have some amazing contacts, this reminds me of the dotcom days for TV. Content is going to be in demand from companies like Netflix & Zinc are well placed to benefit with Mark Browning at the wheel "The Future so Bright - Ive got to wear shades" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NZKLZmz4kA
Is it gossip & fear that has pushed the SP to where it is ?? who knows, But give Mark a chance .
Guess only started 23/4 so should have unpacked his boxes, got his feet under the desk.
Next task ???
This is a terrible start to the new CEO’s tenure in terms of share price. What is he doing behind the scenes to counter this? What the hell is going on Mark? So tweeting about sport being a metaphor for life and business, I guess we could relate this to Zinc media being a complete loser?? Come on Mark, you can talk the talk, so start to walk the walk and get this baby flying!
Could be sentiment related. The SP keeps falling. Someone might be taking money out to look elsewhere.
Another theory could be a placing to enable an acquisition. Could explain why Directors are not buying, just yet.
to a significant level of mistrust among small investors. Who is selling? Why? What do they know that I don't? Why aren't directors buying more now? Just because I'm paranoid...…..
There is no logic to AIM, it's a den of manipulation, gambling and sentiment.
The valuation is getting crazy, zinc have £20m + in revenue, assets worth many x sp, cash in the bank, new ceo with proven track record & longevity in last role growing Itnp. Tern was valued at £5.45m when it joined zinc - (must be worth more now).
Someone sells a few thousand pounds worth of shares & the sp drops 10 % it does not add up, it really feels like the price is being pushed down deliberately, what is the logic ?
Yes fantastic news. Great company for the future.
Can do no harm. On the radar of the decision makers
