Down….low volume up.
I think there might be one arriving imminently though!
Post out. Still no RNS.
I'm like that with the wife. She goes silent I know there's plenty coming.
i do start to worry when it goes quiet
I don't think we have had an RNS this month yet, and I'm not sure of the chances of one tomorrow (my crystal ball is broken). So if you want to be sure your prediction is accurate stevem you may need to get up early (7 am) and post something here yourself.
I’m predicting a 7am post.
No posts at all today, apart from my no post?
Sunday watching (A bit dry in places):

That’s is good to know gixxer, I would not expected any less tbh where a uk listed company are concerned working with foreign sub contractors. Even if there was a disparity in H&S regs in other countries. There is never any excuse for injuries or worse, to employees or anyone on any site, anywhere, in this day and age. I have a zero tolerance for incidents of any kind on my sites, and boast 100% incident or accident free. Incidentally, tracking a digger backwards in relation to the cab will get an operater thrown off site, no argument!!
**** ‘doesn’t’ appen! Let’s all be safe, and hope miners in countries like chile get better rights and working conditions.
Lots of news flow coming over the next two weeks, I’d expect end of year results landing very soon.
Question is, do the board believe the cash inflow from Manica will be enough and in time to replenish coffers, will the board put this in this years report:
“Upon reviewing those cash flow projections for the forthcoming twelve months, the Directors would not expect for funds to be raised through equity raisings, or require additional financial resources in the twelve-month period from the date of authorising the consolidated information to enable the Company to fund its current operations and to meet any future commitments in the event that the Company decides to continue with further exploration work including drilling campaigns in Australia and Zambia”
I’m very much hoping they do! It’ll send a very clear message about expected level income.
Which is as it should be ofc - It was sad to learn that some of our contractors lost their lives due to C19 a year or so ago.
Hopefully we hear no more of that, we all want to make some $$ but not at the cost of lives!
'Would be interested to know the kind of regs these guys have to work under in places like Africa' - Bird has touched on this in the past, as I recall they are fairly tight in terms of H&S in Moz.
Ouch, shows how easy things can go so wrong when plant operators are not concentrating 360*
A banksman is compulsory in most instances in uk with heavy plant, you would be shocked the sort of damage you can do with a 10-30 ton digger! Just with a simple flick of the wrist or accidentally tracking in the wrong direction because the track body is 180deg to the cab.
I vaguely remember something Colin spoke about the Chinese were having to do to avoid the dangers of collapse due to previous stoping. Would be interested to know the kind of regs these guys have to work under in places like Africa, if any maybe! Our guys cannot break ground without full utilities survey, GPS cable detection scan, and only after, will they get issued a permit to dig, wether that be streetworks or in middle of nowhere.
A quick take.
We raised 10m just over a year ago. We spend 2-2.5m a qtr on exploration. With just the unsold gold from the alluivial that we were owed in the last update that's over 1m in that qtr, let alone the other "little" bits that we are apparently producing. We have gone from 2 drills to 1 drill. So we are almost certainly at break even re money currently and that's before we get the serious money from manica.
To own up, I got it wrong with my prediction of assay results this week.
Finally we do have a massive amount of news to release in the next 10 days!
Finally got the the bottom of why the Alluvial update is so late:

A little on fairbride valuation, if is of help, can add 2p+/- for other hard rock and alluvials.
All assets from the Colin bird stable discussed, xtract from 36mins, valuation from 49min

Putting Racecourse out of the equation for a moment, could anyone provide their back of a cigarette packet valuation of each of the remainder of Xtract's assets? For basic example, Manica, X estimated annual sustainable earnings multiplied by Y years = Z value? I don't think I have seen that anywhere and it would be a helpful yardstick for somebody like myself who is not an expert in this sector hoping for some reassurance that the non-Racecourse assets justify a fair element of the current Market Cap. Cheers
Cracking effort Andy
lots more buys today than sells, hopefully some good news next week.
Rick, go away.
In order to try and understand the opportunity for near surface potential at Racecourse I found the following cross sections helpful when viewed in conjunction with the latest drill location plan.
I've put it together into one slide to show the near surface potential particularly in the South of Racecourse. Looks to me like there is significant near surface potential.

I should remind everyone the trucks are not to scale :)
Note the hole 24 cross section contains the cross section of hole 36 - you might remember me moaning about the outstanding assays for this one where the drill observations were provided on 17 Dec 2021. This hole looks very interesting.
***** COLIN HAS QUINTON CHECKED THE BOOT OF HIS CAR FOR THE 36 ASSAYS ???? *****
If anyone wants to look at the details from the relevant RNS which I've cherry picked they are below.

I didn't think the xtr webpage was updated every week... but hey we learn something new every day ;-)
Littleworth I checked all existing shareolders who own over 3% on the XTR website last week and this week and as per Andrew444 message below there has been an increase of 1.45 million increase
Bluebrazilians... I know his holding has increased over the last 6 months. Your post specifically said his holding has increased over the last week. I was asking how you knew his holding had increased over the last week ?
Quiet word for the one who admires himself and blasts a share he is not invested in - you have rather exposed yourself and have now become a bit of a joke character on these BB's DRAIM
Time to ease back on the meaningless retorts DrAim - you have no effect what so ever on the outcomes of any investment...
