EBITDA The ADVFN board. He’s always posting threats that anyone who has ever posted anything remotely negative or been sceptical about the intentions of the respective BoDs at WRN and WHET will be hauled in front of the High Court and made to pay for their opinions.
This could of course be a tactic to disrupt any discussion and debate on the actual pros and cons of the investment - who knows.
Bit like some posters on here who point blank refuse to discuss the most important topics for shareholders, namely why were Whet removed from Britdaq and why has there been no communication from the company since May 2019.
EBITDA. How did your meeting with the FCA go last month?
what other site?
If you believe Darren Chapman over on the other site, the company are banking on making millions from suing posters on message board for stating their opinion. Sounds like a full-proof plan!
I don’t seem to remember the RNSs back in the day mentioning this as part of the revenue stream.
These annual reports where the major content is how the liquidator's fees are charged which seems to be their major concern are an anti-climax
It seemed that BDO intimated in December that the August payment was in full and final settlement of claims against the old Rangers
Presumably a chunk of money has been held back by Begbies as a warchest to fight all the other characters involved in this saga As Anton points out those wells don't look very full . Pyrrhic victory for WRN shareholders with all the hangers on reaping the dividends with fees etc
Looks like now reliant for another 12 months on the lads nudge nudge, wink wink to brief what's going on
It seems that although WRN, a PLC in liquidation, wholly owns Law Financial which majority owns Sevco5088, its liquidators can quote confidentiality, Sevco5088 can issue unaudited and uninformative financial reports, and the shareholders of WRN can be left in the dark about where the proceeds of the Rangers IL settlement have gone. But it's all OK really.
If there is anyone out there that thinks they will receive a penny from this POS then they must be resident at the funny farm with Picto. Maybe there will be a double funeral very soon with WRN and WHET being tucked away together.
And payment was less that liquidator fees!
Happy - chilled - relaxed ?????
Everyone’s moneys gone and the “team” responsible have yet to be held to account .
I asked a question on the other place re the legal action that is supposedly going to bring “us” millions - who is funding it and who is it on behalf of?
Plus what is the point of suing people for 10’s of millions if they don’t have it?
Proceeding have been issued by Sevco 5088 Ltd during this period.
The Rangers FC Group claim settled.

does any one have an idea if WRN will relist
... just a quick look, & yup, GSC website accessed today
still claims they are holding 67% of whetstone shares (!?)
those most recent micro-accounts from GSC tend to suggest
that GSC has got rid of most or all of its remaining shares in
whetstone, because if it still held its shares in whetstone at
the date of those accounts (dec), then it’s hard to see how it
is reporting such small net assets (unless of course they have
marked whet value down to near zero??). - so not just a puzzle
where the proceeds from the RAP share sales have gone, but
also interesting what may have happened to cash from selling
most/all of GSC’s whetstone in late autumn. if the confirmation
statement had been published on time in autumn last year, then
at least that would have enabled potential retail buyers of whet
shares from GSC to take into account that GSC had already been
a heavy seller of whetstone in march 2019. however, since the
confirmation statement was only published this calendar year,
retail punters being offered whetstone shares from GSC in autumn
‘19 might still have been understandably under the impression
that GSC was still holding about 2/3 of the total shares in whetstone
(especially as GSC’s own website had not been changed to reflect
GSC’s dumping of whetstone in march.) delayed CS handy for GSC?
but happy to hear from anyone who thinks that the net asset statement
from GSC could still reasonably include a sizeable chunk of whetstone -
difficult to know for sure what’s going on as so little info from the company!
all of which begs the question, who bankrolled GSC and the
whetstone experiment in the first place? I rather doubt that
it all came from allan, jmo, so although it appears that allan
sold lots of allan’s shares in one of allan’s other companies to
eager punters, maybe allan also needed to pay someone back?
not that transparent, eh.
End of the world coming.... Happy, chilled and relaxed!!
(? ... GSC sold large amounts of whetstone shares to miscellaneous
retail punters in march 2019, as evidenced by that recent confirmation
statement, but perhaps GSC had to pay out large amounts of money to
certain very hard working employees, or folks who had provided incisive
consultancy services as GSC grows into a multi-billion $$ conglomerate?)
... good question.
What happened to the proceeds of the sale of shares in Whet? I thought they were owned by GSC?

micro-accounts out for GSC. as david has pointed out elsewhere,
the shares are *not* paid up, which means that GSC had £46,000
net assets at the end of 2019. - norra lot, as our cilla used to say.
H & J's work is still on-going in relation to Rangers and Sevco, the next report in 5 days time should have further info on these potential claims.
How is winding up the company good news?
Document filed and being processed at Companies House.

Whyte says HMRC were in league with Duff and Phelps but actually Whyte got to choose them as administrator against HMRC's wishes. Now the Rangers liquidators are suing Duff and Phelps for the way they carried out the administration.
