'What's everyone doing with the dividend, is it worth reinventing?'
I took the div as income when the SP was 77p last week. If it's still down on Friday I will reinvest as it will have more than covered the transaction costs. If bond yields are up I will reinvest in a bond etf...
Looks like I were right about a downe day today.
It give me no pleassure to be right all the time.
I gets feelings about things and it comes right.
Raffles typo. If only someone could reinvent vodafone, that would be good.
Although you come across as a maniac, I hope your 50p happens Jax. I’d be lumping in if that occurs.
Happy down days
More to come
The sentiment of last weeks update filtering in
Leave in an Isa or you max your allowance
Your already in so you may as well top up. I think a few might do that as they see it as around the bottom given the update.
What's everyone doing with the dividend, is it worth reinventing?
Yes agree lse2000 plus Barclays on the 8 June Broker Rating 115.00 Reiteration.
Looks like people read it other way for vodafone broker upgrade!
LBBW raises Vodafone to 'buy' (hold) - price target 100 pence
Generally share price goes up on the news, but this one is going down even when BT i s up by 1.5%.. LOL..
Very interesting share to own...
The IMF calls it financial repression. Lots of example where Banks have to cooperate. Banks that fail to cooperate dont get grace and favour from the central bank as their loan portfolios increase.
VOD caught in the process over the last 5 years via the hedging industry. If MDV gets her plan right, VOD could bounce hard, but take the dividend while we wait for the tipping point
Jax, your 50p has been coming for months now.
When will it happen please as I have cash for top ups.
You have been promising this 50p for AGES now! It feels like you are lying to us!
It pays a dividend that’s covered by earnings!
You wont see me there. Vod is a trickster share like the 3 cups trick. No point in a 10% div when it drops by that much every couple of months.
Yep massively overvalued
50p about right
See you there soon
The VOD delusion.
I occasionally look at this. I recall the vitriol I received when I predicted 91p not so long back based on the continuing downtrend. Now look.
Where is the growth to come from? Voda has a large costly infrastructure to maintain with undersea cables etc.
'Those who now believe that they would not be affected by such a robbery because they do not hold government bonds are very likely mistaken. Because everyone who has a fixed-interest asset provision or a private pension plan will also be invested in government bonds without knowing it.'
I can imagine a Labour Government overtly doing this. In the case of VOD, well, private interests seem to have already done it!

Too many bad feeling posts.
I got a good feeling.
...and that dividend wants to reinvest at these low prices but sadly it's going to be spent on wine, women and song

Keep going jax. Normally the more dross you post the higher it goes.
Red with a broker upgrade to buy! This is a patience tester for sure.
Oh look it’s red
gutter *****, you always have a bad feeling about vod, so pack your bags a **** off.
Not looking good for Vodafone tomorrow unfortunately.
Could be down 2 pence or even more...
Sorry Mikey & no dissrespect meant, but why are you saying jax05's remark is dumbass when it is the same as you have said many times on here before? Or dont you remember?? Don't have a go just for the sake of it, please. "Oh the irony" (as mole-man would say)?

Hello Mole. When you said "Oh the irony" were you referring to Mikey's post?
