'5 years -60%. FTSE -2%'
58% upside from here at least?
Looking at the definition of correlation, I hate to defend jax as he's a complete c0(ck), but his assertion is less spurious than your defence
The point is there is a correlation between FTSE movements and VOD movements, whilst JAX claimed there was none.
5 years -60%
FTSE -2%
Your point ?

Isnt there Jax??
LoL yep. Ex div again in November. Think there will be more good news eg Spain, maybe even a major deal with e& if they keep going..
Avo what makes you think Vod follows the FTSE
There’s no comparison whatsoever if you look at the chart beyond the end of your nose.
Sold yesterday on the nonsense spike and bought back again today.
Trend is still down and the market has a lot further to fall.
Not many of the high fiving "don't forget the dividend" longs topping up here - I thought you all would if it was that compelling ??!
Have you seen the FTSE100 Jax. ALL shares suffering today.
Nothing to do with VOD.
Look at the ftse, look at BT, look at telecoms.
You could have made so money jax with a short position. There still time for you, 50p would be a great result for you.
Where is this dog going now
I should get paid from these pricks tomorrow
Does it just go straight into my trading account ??
Telefonica had a couple of broker downgrades and pulling comms sector with it. Makes Vod better value if your buying today!
'also the possibility of increasing our stake to 20%," Dowidar said.'
They get a 2nd non exec on the board if they increase their stake over 20%.
Its good to see some more clarity with this extra holdings deal . It'sownership as of April stood at 14.61%, according to an SEC filing.
The UAE operator's cooperation with Vodafone is awaiting regulatory approvals in countries where the British company operates, which "include an agreement to regulate relations between the two companies, and also the possibility of increasing our stake to 20%," Dowidar said.
It does show they are /will go ahead as and when possible , so shows faith in VOD for the long term and that they are under valued at this price.
They are hopeful to get these approvals in the next 3 or 4 months." So maybe by Oct the SP will be £1.
I’m currently down £15k Dan on £135k in. Dividend Friday and won’t take a lot to see a good run here. Hoping to take £30k min out of this or possible stay if it really looks good and div continues 🤞
Dan, I'm more likely to be put in a mental hospital than work in one, most people need counselling after being invested here for several years :-)
Now come on rob, do we really want the guttersnipe to be himself? Anybody else might work, but definately not himself. You don't really work in a mental home do you? As G.S. suggested. You do seem to have some empathy for people like him? No dissrespect meant. Cheers Amigo.
dan , i know you was joking, i should have said you can't call me a bloody foreigner just because i'm the other side of the severn bridge :-) anyway i better stop that in case we get accused of being ****** as neither of us are
gutter very funny, but be nice to us poor vod holders, i'm just hoping we are up a little higher each friday
Sorry rob, but when I am jokiing (bloody foreigner) I assume that someone like you gets the joke. Or do have I have put the cringeworthy l.o.l. after joke I make? have a good one. Anyway, you can't help being from Wales.
A gutter snipe from olde England would give rich people a hard time.
Sniping from the gutter.
It's funny, get it.
Gutter, why are you thinking of other people are your betters ?, you shouldn't think of yourself as better or worse than anyone else, just be yourself
Although I am 7 times my original stake since 1997 investing only on British shares.
Sniping at my betters from the gutter
Gutter, you are an expert, what do you specialise in ?
