On the move up again as the US opened
WOW the market really hates this share, the only one heading down out of all the companies in the FTSE
Yup terrible atm
Especially Vod - worst share on ftse100 belongs on aim
As a shareholder, I have to say this share is a s**t,, as a matter of fact, all UK stock market is s**t.
I see the consensus of brokers is hold.
Vodafone Group Public has received a consensus rating of Hold. The company's average rating score is 2.14, and is based on 2 buy ratings, 4 hold ratings, and 1 sell rating.
MDV fiddling while Rome burns!
This share is a big fat lol
Once again, any gains quickly wiped out.
" Just wondering where they are at now and is it worth a punt. "
Do your research over Xmas, and you will find out :-)

What is the Harmonized System (HS)?
Hi all! First post... I held Lloyds for 3 and a half years but switched to Vodafone in early November..boy did that cost me... bought in at78.6p to get the div and sold Lloyds at 42.3p...im reading these posts all the time and finding it very interesting... I plan to top up just before the next set of quarterlies...
Let's see if it can close positive first!
I have added yesterday but don't want to add anymore near term
I see a nice h&s forming, indicating we are about to get to 71 in short order
IMO - will recover next year once all the Option Traders have exercised their Options ..... the quarterly Options don't expire until Dec 29th but not so much trading left due to close down for Xmas ..
I suspect the volumes will drop heading towards the Xmas close down ...market closes on Friday at 12.30pm until next Wednesday
It can't even crawl back to 70p on today's good inflation reading. What a complete dog this share has become. It's not looking like Voders are going to get any Christmas cheer this year. Maybe next Christmas, hey!
Thanks fleccy, good post.
The lower interest rates should remove some of the investor worry regarding debt refinancing.
At the same time Vodafone should benefit from the previous inflation+ price increases it has given to customers. We will have to wait to see how far the disinflation goes but my guess has UK10Y hitting 3% in Feb.
Telecom providers are probably among the least impacted by high Inflation. Telecom company bonds are fixed rate, so the debt is unaffected by short term interest rates, but the companies can pass inflationary rises onto consumers. Where interest rates do have an impact, is when debt refinancing is due. As per other recent threads, Vodafone has around 13 Billion Euros of debt maturing over the next 5 years, but would likely be able to pay that in cash if there was no other options available.
It has to go up.. otherwise.. the company should declare bankrupt.. LOL..
Inflation related stocks should go up today atleast 5% .. but I doubt vodafone will.. Lets see.. We need 3 santa rally from today till this friday..
All the best..
Even Vod should go up today
Hi Dave3071 and Gary59. Also a big shout to the rest of the vod longs.
Something to read before heading to bed.

Once vod gets rid of under performing countries, sentiment will change.
It takes time to turn things around.
Patience is required .
I caught that too, I'm done flipping it, long term holding & forgetting that I own it.
Follow the $$$
Avi, I think jax likes you really! Jaxi & Avi. Nice?!
Jax05, how do you know all these things ?
'MDV will be sacked in a few months unless she can stop the rot which she can’t.
Over 30% decline during her short tenure
The next 30% will come fast and hard'
It's just that you sound like a genius, even though I'm sure you know that already.
It's a pity I hadn't read your rare wisdom before buying 100,000 more shares at 65p each recently, ah well ccan't win 'em all.
