I don't normally post on any boards, dealing in shares is not for the faint hearted you make your decisions based on information about the company, there are many things out of your control. I have held spire for one year ,and have sold on highs and got back in on lows and have made a decent profits. Private investors have little patience and want to make a quick profit, that's not how this works.

As soon as bad news comes out they panic, you have got to look at the longer therm for value. Good luck to all who have invested in spire I won't be posting anymore as most of what is said on boards is dribble as it is of no value to people who invest for the longer therm.

As major shareholders hold most of the shares in circulation they aren't going to bale out ,private shareholders are are just a tiny a amount of the total.

I have been investing in shares for many years, and for all the chatter on the boards all that matters is there value in the company. I have heard all the same nonsense talked about BT and vodafone legal and general and marks and Spencer in the past couple of years, all have risen to new heights. The NHS is under pressure to out source operations for hip and knee and other surgeries, and spire is there go to hospital.

To take an offer of £2.30 at this time is not going to be accepted by the major shareholders as a lot of them have paid more than that.if they are going to be any more bids they are going to be higher than that.

Spire health care are treating more patients now than ever before.they are getting the waiting lists of the NHS down. Also directors are not prone to invest their own money unless the turnaround plan is working.bad sentiment is what pushed the share price down. The share price will slowly climb over the next month or so to higher levels as the cuts in staffing and savings take effect.

The share doesn't care what we as investors think or do,or anyone else's opinion or charts . It's about sentiment in the market place ,is the company moving in the right direction to turn itself around.

The only thing is have i invested my money in the right place to make a profit.

There are plenty of suitors wanting to get into bed with vod to cut there costs

In investing in the infrastructure or expanding there footprint where they are in direct competition,all of this takes time to pick the right partner.

Or sell their business for the right price.

Vod needs to make the right decision to move the company into more profit ,and value for it's shareholders.

You only make money investing large companies by being patient.

Once vod gets rid of under performing countries, sentiment will change.

It takes time to turn things around.

Patience is required .
