Future is Digital Banking and IMO everything looks positive here...
All I could see is, £1.50 to £1.70 reach is not far for this.. When the rally starts, it's going to be a jet speed :)
In my opinion, the results doesn't look dark or with many flashing lights.
tooooooo much of Over reaction here...
It will get on going well soon
I wasn’t sure, I don’t think they were any worse than expected but it read that they’d be sometime before things improve further. I’d gained just over 50% value in a few weeks, thought the uk economy was just about to be reported dire so sold out. Good luck
Seriously ? What makes you say that ?
Excellent results today
I’m holding firm and interested in results and into the new year the company doing well as covid moves on hopefully. They suffer less from cost problems as pretty digital in these times which is essential, most banks are now reporting progress, high capital levels and hopefully virgin is in this category
Virgin Money upgraded to Overweight from Underweight at Barclays Barclays analyst Grace Dargan double upgraded Virgin Money to Overweight from Underweight with a price target of 165 GBp, up from 100 GBp. The analyst sees the company as best positioned for sustainable mortgage tailwinds in 2021.
Full year results next week also
Brexit update is the next big move alongside next lockdown. Change.
If a Brexit deal is done shares I think will rise and likewise lockdown relaxed as covid can be controlled
Thanks for you thoughts.
Thanks for your thoughts.
No idea but it certainly went past £1 pretty quickly and hasn’t dropped back a great deal over this climb
Maybe it’s returning some what to pre covid levels hence your still in negative territory as you bought higher.
General banking stocks are improving, the business is positioning itself as a disruptor, divi payments, share buy back as the rules around holding cash are expected to down grade in the next few months especially if covid is controlled and the amount kept on the books for back times doesn’t actually need to be spent on bad loans? Furlough scheme in place until next March?
Fantastic rise recently. Why, I wonder ? Tempted to average down as still a loss for me.
I bought in the 80s and 90s not that long ago and it’s certainly doing well.
Going well, elections, less covid direct bank impact
Interesting to see the impact from Covid or not as they operate differently than standard, high street banks. So will the brand, ways of working allow them to expand, take an advantage through this current period? They shouldn’t have as much baggage ?
Greens
