I largely agree with Thunder, when the regulator sorts itself out I will buy in further. VANQ have a skilled and enthused management team. However, at present, you can literally use one computer to bring down a bank which is absurd
There was good chance to average at 43 few weeks back
Nice run!
I think we all need to calm down and switch off for a while, it's got vast potential but really we need to let the new management team do their thing, checking back in 2 years Vs selling now could reward holders X2 or X3 which makes taking 20% seem a bit of a wasted opportunity
Am looking @ 50k+ here so holding for gold
NT to buy.
Can sell all at 62.4p... currently short on supply.
Onwards and upwards IMO, dyor.
£1 at least incoming
Trade Volume today already 1,332,935 so we are expecting to surpass yesterdays 1.7m volume... If the volume exceeds 2.5m then may be more IIs buying this. imo, dyor.
Blind- fair enough and good for you. You may end up kick yourself when this explodes though. It's only 20% gain from 50p to 60p.. the biggest gains are coming when it returns back to pre-announcement at 100p+
Onwards and Upwards. GLA, Dyor,imo.
Agree. It is overbought on technicals right now, but that does not mean a pull back is imminent, nor that it needs a big pull back necessarily to return to 'neutral' or even oversold.
But unless something company-specific changes, then I too am going to continue to ride this wave with the remaining allocation of shares I have here.
The narrative is very interesting right now. If we get to my target exit price, I will take a view then. A pull back on thin air and I will likely repurchase some that I sold recently. Fingers crossed naturally and GLA.
Thanks VANQ 15K in 3 weeks.
Wish you all well, am out. Set me my margins and got them.
It may go further but watched too many profits fall back previously, you go to have balls.
Overbought at less than half what it was a few months ago? That is why I am not a chartist
Technical analysis screaming overbought but I don't care... haha. This is riding a massive wave, buys remain to outstrip sells. Proven by the demand from IIs. DYOR,IMO
Certainly the trajectory of the share price is heading straight to £1 in weeks which will do me
Morning Mary
This is still very under the radar I think but somebody must be looking at taking over before we reach £2
Last chance for a bidder to pounce as soon this will be £1+++
Your Honour- twas the YTS kid.
IIs mopping these up. Ticking up every day. Keep it up. Onwards and upwards.
Deutsche Bank cuts Vanquis Banking target to 85 (88) pence - 'buy'
Have added again. The SP did give the impression that one of them was. Splendid :)
45k obviously pennies for TMS legal. Rewards outweighing risks of getting small penalty. Seems they are a group of "lawyers" or crooks with a grasps of the risks and benefits. Obviously not scared and a lucrative business to take on Vanquis for good money £££.
Clearly past penalties were no deterrent.
Presumably potential receipts are judged to exceed potential penalties and the penalties are just a business cost.
It's clear that TMS have not learnt anything since their £45000 fine from the SRA for their scattergun approach https://www.lawgazette.co.uk/news/dorset-firm-slapped-with-45000-fine-for-claims-failings/5117394.article . Clearly their modus operandi is quantity, not quality, presumably because it has worked for them in the past.
The £45000 fine 6 months ago was supposed to serve as a "credible deterrent to both the firm and the wide [sic] profession, including other firms working in this sector" but when it hasn't even worked on TMS themselves, what chance is there that such a pitiful fine will work in the rest of sector? There is definitely a mismatch of teeth between the FCA and the SRA.
Let's hope that the high court sees it for what it is and slaps them with the full £4.5 million plus costs.
Couldn’t agree more LWHL.
Would love it if we can put this to bed once and for all.
I loathe these parasite ambulance chasing type organisations. No better than agent provocateur's for low level criminal behaviour, in many cases. They make the world a worse place. And ultimately a more expensive place, for those who it hurts the most.
