Thoth2. I hold both SAR & VAL so have an interest in BOTH succeeding.
SAR was in the doldrums for years and VAL was brought to its knees by the action of George & Mildred. Under the new CEO, I've been able to take a fresh look at VAL and I averaged down to bring my B/E to Ca 23p and until Suzy took over, I had written my investment off. SAR seems on the cusp of some major re-rate. I also held SAR shares for years.
Whilst I can't predict what will happen here, I think you're being a bit harsh in your assessment about the way VAL is being run. In fact, Tim over at SAR could take note of the excellent communications format set up under Dr Dilly as shown by the Q&A recently available.
The trial for 201 was successful and I won't insult your intelligence by picking snippets from it. The only thing I would say is that the numbers were limited by the fact the men taking part were at end -stages in their illness and obviously only small numbers of patients would have been available. More details will be available by the end of the year.
The position with the other products is covered in the very recently published Q&A. An update on 301 is given.
Let's hope that both of these shares do well and we all get some rewards both financial and in the alleviation of suffering.
Toth2 point taken..thanks....
Thanks for your response Nick. ATB.
Firstly,if I had been selling you would have seen a TR1
Secondly ,when has Jason ever posted anything that made sense. He really does post nonsense
I bought my last tranches at 30p and 23p so I’m certainly not selling 1 share at a mkt cap anywhere near 13m
I’m in for nothing here so I am v happy to hold and maybe even buy more sub 20p ..I hope we don’t get there !
Mazik. Are you ignoring
Sar has two licenced products with milestones and royalties and no further development costs.
P2 trials completed with over 200 people.
Val has a trial of 11 people. Not statistically significant. Will have to be re run on a larger scale. But i see no.partners.
As an aside. Endometriosis. How the hell can you recruit women of childbearing age into a trial. Imho you are being led willingly down the garden path again. I do hold a few. Only down 95% in a year. Good luck
Yes, I did Nick, although the 4% threshold was breached pre-exercise of remaining warrants, so you won't see a TR-1. To be honest, I had it in mind that we could therefore prevent some unscrupulous rascal from undertaking a mickey-taking Section 979 approach (albeit they'd probably have to cough up 60p/share). ;-)
Nick, is what Jason Pugh on ADVFN about you is the case?
Good to see you’ve increased again Adam
Last you were under 4pct
So you’ve made a recent purchase ?
I’ve not bought for a while but may do on further weakness
Teamhanz thanks for that info :-)
101 was linked with GeneICE which has been terminated.
Rhubar,
yes I agree with u.. I have respect for Ms Suzie after being stung by x Bods regime, anyway market is ****e...lets hope for Val301 update, and wake them for Val101 which was completly forgotten....GLA Stay safe
I've worked in this industry for nearly 20 years and I know all the various types of big and small pharma characters.
She means what she says Mazik.
Rhubar,
I hope they really truly mean what they announce as LTH take it serious after being done by the Ex posse " Company is now in a strong position to continue development of existing products and create a pipeline of novel compounds for further development and partnering. I look forward to working with the Board to continue building value in the Company and delivering on the mission of developing innovative medicines to improve the lives of patients."
Yep me too pal. Holding 4.6%, and I won't be selling before or soon after 201 full results, just so you know. MCap is worth having the CEO and her posse in alone in my humble opinion.
MCap is £14m.. Partner/takeover one or the two will happen, too cheap and too much potential upside here, be surprised if there are not already discussions ongoing considering results were out some time ago. Just wait to be surprised, will happen sooner or later and if your holding you will be very very happy :-)
1970. Do me a favour and don’t put words in my mouth. That is all.
ATB
Mmmm - NA - 1970 - you no idea
Luckybob not saying we won't get a partner just thinking out loud about possible scenarios but let's hope we don't slip to far before we get news.
Luckybob23, If your Adam or Grace are confident is because they hope for another good pump for the result of val201, well it could be up a bit or no affect at all because the headline already priced in. Just pop over to sclp and have a look for yourself with their scb1. That compound finished for years with great results, better than what we currently have with val201 but they attracted none, people kept scratching their heads for the reasons and some are still asking over there. They only started to have a partner willing to take it further until recently but the deal was not lucrative as you would hope for.
So if no partner willing to engage then val201 is very much going to no where. Even if val managed to find a partner you would look for the phase 2 won't start until late next year or the year after, just see how long it has already taking the japanese to assess 301 and no word from it yet, then look forward for few more years before you have the result. Don't forget it has taken val almost 6 years just to about to complete phase 1/2 and we are not even there yet. All the best
Jinky, why wouldnt we get a partner?
The headline results were good. I cant give you the technicals but if Adam and Grace are confident then so am I.
a partner needed to fund the further development, what if we can't attract a partner ,what then ! a massive placing may be the only option.
Just to point out as already stated.
No placing due, fully funded with further development to be funded by a partner.
If there is an unexpected change to this then it will require the permission of the shareholders.
Not word for word but it's there in black and white in the QnA.
NO FURTHER PLACING
FULLY FUNDED
CASH BURN MASSIVELY REDUCED.
Again suzy shows her commitment to shareholders and great communication.
Mr.Nation you are absolutely correct here we have maerket cap of under £15 million with Val201 on Phase 2 and similarly EVG under £15 million working on Phase 2 and 3....its a joke Sar iis valued at £76 million at the back of grant of £174k grant....GLA
Nothing really new that i can see encouraging though comments on VAL201
"The data collected in the VAL201 clinical trial are still in the process of being fully analysed, so it is impossible yet to assess the full impact. However, the headline results in patients suggest there is a marked disease impact and a strong safety and tolerability profile. This gives us confidence that the full analysis of the data will provide sufficient evidence to support substantive discussions with potential partners and for the project to progress into further clinical trials with such partners. "
Great to see an active investor engagement! Bodes very well for the coming days and weeks!!!
Not a big holding but taking some shares at this price!
