October Q&A just released on the companies website guys and gals
The Q&A very much anticipated now after the new website. All going in the right direction. Full results within 7 weeks too.
That's rather good. Even has my 10.51 buy correct unlike LSE. I know its only a website, but demonstrates a company looking to be more professional for PR and attracting investors. Good stuff!
Ah, yep. Even has a live update of share price.
Wow, fancy new website for Valirx just come live. Looks very good.
Great post Adam. Thanks for your views and insight, greatly appreciated.
To be fair to Sareum, I would say that 100m is fair, if not somewhat undervalued at this stage; they have an in-house kinase screening capability, from what I can gather, and a number of TAs with decent potential. I'm not a Sareum shareholder for the record.
VAL don't have in-house chemistry. That's not necessarily a bad thing, especially in this day, as there is quite a dearth of "virtual" biotechs who aren't solely focused on their own in-house capability, so it does allow them to seek out the "right" TAs with flexibility and mitigated risk, which does rely on business acumen and personal skills (which Suzy et al definitely have); hence why I am really keen to see if anything is brewing in that space. A real pivot point for me.
Financially, it has been extremely lucrative to partner or sell at an earlier stage than historically, and Suzy could become the next "drug hunter" - she certainly has published specifically well in this area.
I digress; as MrN says, it does all make VAL look cheap, and obviously I agree with that. I think it's balanced to say that this company has one TA in particular that is sitting in a space of modest, or huge, potential. It is hamstrung in that the budget is limited to do internal reformulation and reposition work, hence the collaborations. If it were big pharma, I suspect we'd have about three or four Phase 2bs on the go now with it in various guises. The question will be how visible it currently is. Obviously the Japanese company see potential, as do many of us. This is where the full data for 201 is key, and how this is disseminated when it arrives. If it were me, I'd show the Japanese collaborator first; they've already got the necessary NDA etc in place, and they were proactive in getting hold of 301.
Like a house sale, I know enough to know that the BOD will play with a very straight bat. I'd be in the "there's another cash buyer coming up the drive in 5 minutes, so be quick and don't miss the boat" camp, but that's why I'm a shareholder and not serving on any AIM boards :-)
Yes very true, looks like we will be getting them back soon when the next news is nearing or out :)
Still don’t understand how the market value SAR at close to a 100m and VAL at 15m though
Looking at what has happened at Sareum this morning, I prefer the Mary Celeste approach; i.e. no news, until there's news. Gets us somewhat off the speculative radar.
The lovely Suzy has just confirmed via email that the Q&A is only Schedule to be released before month end. She really is such a great Director, always quick responses and a pleasure to communicate with.
Yes definitely been a lack of any good news for a while now....things are likely to be happening in the background....q and a session is due next day or so as to keep us informed I guess...I think positive news will come anytime and likely to see the sp move up considerably imo
Its like the Mary Celeste here! Its going to feel like a very long wait until full results... A Nice progress update RNS on all our product line would do the power of good, but feel there probably isn't much else She can add on all fronts. So we wait.....
Investment wise it’s been my most lucrative so far....
Still, there is still time to climb aboard :)
I really hope you have a lovely week away :)
Enjoy...
OB
It sounds like you had a lovely week :)
Ha...one very tired dog for sure! Feeling a bit too delicate for gin tonight...
The trip to the little welsh shop was wholly unproductive, as they didn’t have anything much there this time. May try somewhere here tomorrow :) You definitely seem to have bought your precious metals at the right time. I’m hearing more and more about silver especially, being at the start of a huge bull run :)
Hi grace
We had a lovely week off thank you :) we did some national trust venues and had a few meals out, it was very nice
I trust you have a large gin in your right hand and a smelly dog in your left, lol
Have a wonderful week off, (thumbs up)
Oh did your trip to the little welsh shop go well ;) ?
Hey OB!
I like it here too and still happy to be invested. How was your trip? I’m looking out over Porthminster beach :) Bit dark at the moment though...
It’s been a bit boring here for a while, then I think of the position we are in now, absolutely no difference here Now than a few weeks ago at 60p+
All those years of research and knowledge under our belt and a bargain SP at the moment...
Serious question, what’s not to like ?
Personally I’m really happy to be invested here...
Gut feeling “no charts” this will hit £1+ at the whiff of good news, imho :)
Have a good evening everyone!
