It's one thing not to read too much into answers given in a pre determined interview but quite another to gauge the level of positivity to an individual response. If BL looks, acts and sounds positive when asked about the latest drill testing and then the results turn out to be poor he would quickly make himself look like a fool and no one in their right mind not least a company CEO would do that! So please stop with all this negativity. If he looks, acts and sounds positive about the current well testing I'm sure it's because he is! We know they discovered 40m of oil, 'above expectations' what more do you want? Some people it seems will try and knock this company no matter what they achieve and no matter how good the news is. This the week that we announced another great flip of a North Sea asset worth a couple of million to us for a few hundred thousand pounds outlay. Is it jealousy or something more sinister that is driving this constant negativity from a few posters in the face of constant results and good news from the company? Either way they will keep achieving and the shareprice will as inevitably as day following night, begin to reflect all the great work they're doing to take this company to mid cap status.
Are you suggesting we should read nothing into any interviews made by any company director?
I would listen to Halfsovereign with their interview comments. Every CEO comes across positive and confident in those proactive interviews. They get asked pre agreed questions so their answers are all prepared to sound as good as they can. Its their job to do so.
I'm not saying UOG is not doing the right things. It is, but to read anything into the way Brian talks in a pre prepared interview isn't a great idea
O2B@C, it's possible they are already looking to dual list on the OTC markets.
Looks like the market is saying to BL 'walk the talk' before we will react.
Roll on September.
Better still the BoD should look at dual listing in the USA. They are prepared for higher investment risks and should be more 'BIDEN' Irish friendly.
Will Kuwait Oil fund some of Jamaica, being same bed mates in Egypt?
The UK is not up for the 'Craic' so look elsewhere for better O & G support.

Give it a rest will you whoever you are. You are not even invested here.
Go and chat on the boards you are invested in. How long have you been investing as you seem to take advice from anonymous posters on these boards asking for the cash position of PRD and whether it would be doing another placing when it was around 8p - how is that trade going for you?
Thanking another poster for advising you to sell Arcm. Seriously! Yet you are the sage here telling us how shares go up and down and that shareholder value is created by pumping the share price without growing and creating value in the business.
Think you are wasting your time if you think people take your comments seriously.
I'm here for at least the next 5yrs as the company grows to mid- cap . Those trading knows very well that lifespan isn't forever and I'll be here to cash in.
Veneto UOG looks like a trading share .
Any news will be sold hard and that's if you can because the market makers figured that one out .
Not as many sticky holders as there was in uog probably because they see themselves getting locked in .
"Al Jahraa 8 Development Well (post period end) encountered over 40m of net oil pay across three different reservoir units. Preliminary results indicate over 30m of net pay in the Upper and Lower Bahariya reservoirs, significantly above pre-drill expectations."
Last part of the last sentence says it's looking good.
He is the CEO .
His job is to sell this company to you .
So being upbeat and positive means nothing really.
The only proof we have of shareholder value is the share price.
Cheerleaders and happy clappers do not pay your mortgage.
Looking forward to seeing the well results, Brian knows it's looking good. Hopefully we'll be testing close to 4000 BOEPD by end of year.
Yes it will be nice to see some value for shareholders, sometime.
I just watched the interview and was very impressed.
Brian seems very confident he can continue to grow the company and create value for shareholders.
Looks like a very good opportunity from the current share price which seems far too low given the cash generation and potential for growth
He seemed excited, they will know by know roughly what flow rates we should get snd he seemed confident regarding Jamaica IMO , exciting times
