Lol Bishop,
You’re giving scoote indigestion.
2.20 is the first sticking point and I think we could test this afternoon.
I'm with Disruptor on this one. I've worked with Glaxo, Pfizer and MSD albeit within IT but you pick up bitz n pieces along the way.
10 years from discovery to market. 3 to 6 years clinical trials.... Anything shorter on the trial, ppl will have adverse reactions and could die.
Take a look at any pamphlet with meds your currently on and look at the known reactions...it's quite scary hence I don't normally read them!
If this government think they can push one out within the next 6 to 12 months human health will be at risk.
However, back to the BB here, it seems business as usual with no obvious delays. As I said last week, I was sticking out for 2.6p but from today's RNS I'm upping my price. Personally, I'd like 3.25p tested and then I'll re-evaluate :)
You're having a laugh scoote
Vaccine / no vaccine means zero now to the SP of UFO now.
The amount of liquidity that the FED and other governments have pumped into the system is what is going to drive the precious metals through the roof for the next few years. The only thing that matters now is when the bill has to be paid, not if.
Shouston.
When you say fast track... Do you mean cutting corners? Because there is no way around this. Having worked in Biomedical sciences I would love to see the UK gov dictate and govern the FDA. It had nothing to do with our abilities as much as the red tape which governs the industry.
Clinical trials alone take 6 years usually, with a drug taking 10 years to make discovery to marketplace. So again, I heard this back in May about releasing a 'vacccine'.
Has anyone paid a thought to the mutations that this strain has already adapted? It doesn't like dying and wants to evolve, and is doing so.
There is no vaccine, well there is, about as useful as one for the influenza.
Who here would take an experimental drug? Who pays for any ill side affects? What about your life insurance?
I have lost complete faith in the UK gov and doubt their ability to walk in a straight line nevermind get involved with drug and pharma development. Following the science they say... I would like to see it, because so far it only looks like they follow social media.
It probably isn't as black and white as the media make out...
The UK started to analyse the DNA of the virus back in February. I would not underestimate the UK capabilities in researching drugs. The UK has already changed our law to fast track approval before we leave EU if a vaccine is deemed safe.
Trials in UK/SA/Brazil/Russia/USA. Have so far gone well.
The vaccine news, as long as it has an efficacy of 70% or greater. Will for sure enhance my holdings in travel and retail stocks.
The vaccines they have at the moment are only temporary and do not give you indefinite immunity to the virus, so are crap basically. Same as a flu jab
On the plus side... Our commodities of silver and Iron ore are economic recovery stocks and potentially Zinc also, so we are in a very unique position.
(I will ignore copper for the recent JV and just look forward to what we have yet to box off)
Shouston.
It takes years to create vaccines and undergo trials to get FDA approval on a drug. And they are telling us they can bang one out in 9 months... Measuring side effects for only 1-3 months clinical trial and giving the green light.
Any vaccine they release this year, or next year, I will not be taking. Not a chance.
The damage has already been done by the countries decisions against the virus. The world wants to believe it can recover, do a nice little V and back to business by start of Q2 2021.
I wouldn't worry about this 'vaccine'. The UK cannot even identify +ve vectors correctly. How will they stand a chance during influenza season?
Will still get stimulus on steroids
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Sometimes the price drops violently and then springs back up all in the same day. I’m guessing, and I have no evidence,MM can see where all the stops are, drop the price , trigger the stop, fill orders placed at a higher price. Money for old rope.
Printing press has not stopped and cant and interest rates cant go up otherwise mass crash houses business and of course the debts all countries carry its in their interest to keep rated low/0 or negative
With the growing news that one is ready and could be rolled out early November, what will this do to the volatility of the metal markets and effect on UFO pricing going forward.
Any thoughts
