HH, BB, I reckon the biggest factor in last years race up to 3p was the gold rush. I know Alien Metals isn't looking for gold but the excitement caused all miners and explorers to fly, including us.
This year all metals, precious and non-precious, are moving upwards and we have several reasons to expect 3p and more. Our UFO has several strings to its bow . . . including the chance of gold appearing in the copper joint venture with Capstone.
I'm forced to agree with TACET on his last post. My worry is we need solid information from our BOD in order to ride this current tide. (Pun not expected but I can't be arsed to reword anything).
If no news very soon, I can see a retrace although I accept there is an argument for that UFO will also ride the Silver price.
From my understanding the next Silver Settlement date is May 26 (I think) so if again there is a shortage of Physical Silver then we should see a breakout beyond $30.00/oz If so, then UFO could be swept along quite nicely.
An RNS during this time would be incredibly fortuitous for sure.
Thoughts anyone?
@ wentsland "I am invested, I am positive, but I will quietly wait until the FACTS emerge."
that sums up my own view, though we do have to accept that under the current economic climate it is a "fact" that investors are behaving irrationally and much can move on sentiment. I'm trying not to act upon sentiment but I am making more of an effort to try and understand other people's sentiment.
Last time this spiked to 3p I knew it was a sentiment driven spike and told myself as much but hung in because I believed in the longer term future for UFO... I still do but had I sold and bought back at the dip I could have tripled my holding just by understanding the ups and downs of sentiment.
You're right mapp, gotomoon is the business.
Keep on inspiring us, gotomoon!
I bit of gloom from someone with a touch of doom.
Stops a modest boom.
I prefer good talk from Offtothemoon
Who was not born with a silverspoon.
His dream is to own a mine.
UFO will help him to shine.
I agree Wentsland, let's not get carried away. But here are a couple of facts that make it hard to stay grounded:
1: share price a month ago was 0.93p (we're up around 30% in a month)
2: share price a year ago was 0.09p. You do the math and try to stay calm!
Nice share to 'won'. Hope that's Freudian.
@wentsland
It's an interesting share to won, and a nice board to be on.
The rise is probably linked to silver but mostly it is on thin air rather than facts. So I'm not getting excited by it, just hoping that it holds and is then fed a platform with a solid RNS.
As a pretty new investor I've finally worked out not to get too involved with rises that are built on sand. Selfishly, I was hoping for a bit of a drop so I could top up before a huge RNS. But, as I said, that is selfish.
Yes i do agree with you the amount of dribble and nonsense is unbelievable some times.
No one knows where this is going or when, its sheer guesswork and speculation, the fundamentals of Alien Metals is good, but up to now the value of the company is about right ,why because nothing is proven and until we have a cast iron RNS to prove otherwise all the tweets in the world are not going to change this.
I am invested, i am posititive, but i will quietly wait until the FACTS emerge.
Lost count of the amount of times I’ve thought this is it, hopefully soon
@silverhorse
I'm sure it would be hard to dislike you, but your ramping is a little silly. I think you really should have your own exclusive thread with Chris2.
It's a lovely day, you don't have to sit at your PC making wild and varying predictions all day my friend.
We keep testing 1.20p. Maybe this is when we go to the next level 1.4p+
Hopefully this will move up to 1.3 most likely around 3-330 if we are lucky today
Hi silverhorse.
Come on spill the beans.
10p would see me in a very tasty position. How about 12 months
Still looking strong on the ask 1.235 to buy
Someone is offloading this morning to void this rise, who is anyones guess and why is the other question. .. need their head checked!
Going to keep to my word and hold for over 10p -( I see when this will happen - best not to say here yet)
