Turner Pope's research note stated, "As Alien advances each project, we would revisit our valuations reducing/increasing the exploration stage discount and refining the other factors used. If positive these developments could lead to additional upside to the valuation, or if negative, lead to further downside to the valuation."
The drill results will have an immediate impact to the minimum valuation, since they are currently only factoring in the transaction value of the agreement with Capstone and not eg 10Mt @>1% Copper. Can't wait for the results!
Ufo great work they doing with capstone doing work it will allow ufo to fund serous projects for silver. With biden in talk to do another stimulus package can only increase silver gold ....
Excellent New then for 3.3% Copper!
So the SP goes down and spread hovers around 12 to 13%
And this is good news!
You gotta love AIM
all good info keep me informed
still not had any of my silver delivered i bought on the 1 feb they have just cancelled me 5x 10oz bars and said now april for my 1kg bars. think its getting difficult to get hold off any. has any one else managed to get delivery or had problems
* And for their Upside Valuation they are only factoring in 1moz Au eq. polymetallic deposit.
Cozamin which is very similar has:
Cozamin has a total NI 43-101 complaint mineral reserve estimate of 10.18mt at a grade of 1.79% copper, 41g/t silver,
0.36% zinc and 0.05% lead and a total NI 43-101 compliant mineral resources estimate of 44mt at a grade of 1.22% copper,
41g/t silver, 1.56% zinc and 0.43% lead.
Capstone will be paying us cash payments as they sole fund the Donovan 2 up to completion of a Prefeasibility Study. Therefore the cash payments as part of the agreement are insignificant.
But what will have a real impact on SP and Mkt Cap will be the resource estimate we will get from the drill results next month.
In Turner Pope's Downside Valuation, they only factored in the transaction value of the earn-in agreement.
And for their Upside Valuation they are only factoring in 1M oz of Au.
Be under no illusion that 3% copper is exceptional.. my basic calcs for the Donovan 2 project are based on 10Mt @ 1% Cu .. which yields around $132M. Should the grades be anywhere near 3% at we would be looking at a very attractive prospect indeed.
I believe above 1.5% is very good
@BB the company presentation says Donovan 2 is located 24km from Teck Resources San Nicolas Project, which has resource:
• 108Mt @ 1.16%Cu, 1.6%Zn,
0.43g/t Au and 24.5g/t Ag
Copper (Cu):
Low grade: <1%
Medium grade: 1% - 1.5%
High grade: >1.5%
I believe Cozamin is considered a tier one mine (this is also down to size of the deposit, not just grades - so that doesn’t mean Donavon 2 will be), but the average grade there I believe is 1.77%.
Why is the farmer growing crops on our land, we should take his crops and sell them aswell as the copper and gold.
Another string to our bow. Copper, crops and gold
Forgive the question, but just how good (or bad) is 3.3% Copper?
It's great to finally see recent photos of our projects with drill rigs on sight.
I feel a bit sorry for the farmer growing his crops, but we desperately need the copper for cleaning our planet & EVs.
@ShareTalkNews
are looking to speak with Bill Brodie Good, CEO & Technical Director of #UFO
https://twitter.com/ShareTalkNews/status/1366300567887314944
Hopefully should get an interview soon!!
Bill hopefully might give an indication on the Iron Ore & Air Mag results?
We need some volume in here, that spread is terrible!
Predicted a 1.25p baseline last week. Looks like this week it'going to happen. Sorry, but it appears that you missed your chance, to all those who were waiting on a lower entry price!
GLA
This RNS is positively neutral. Positive in that it is reporting progress, ahead of schedule, and neutral in that however optimistic we are about what is in the ground it still waits to be verified.
Have a good Monday everyone and keep the faith.
Those selling @1.11 are getting ripped off.
RNS 13/1/21 stated, "Given the location of Donavan 2, near to existing infrastructure and operating mines, if Capstone are successful in identifying a commercial deposit it is well placed for rapid advancement."
All indications so far are that it is a "commercial deposit". So hopefully we get rapid advancement since Copper set to make an ATH!
From memory i think its 10 years or 15 years of production at a certain tonnage
Tier 1 is when they are large, long life and low cost - high-grade & near surface.
In RNS 13/11/20, Brad Mercer, Senior Vice President of Operations and Exploration, Capstone Mining Corp. commented:
"We review many business opportunities every year but very few meet our high criteria. Donovan 2 has the potential to be a high grade, near surface deposit in a world class mining district."
max is there an official description of tier 1. Like a certain size vs grade
@Oil RNS 22/10/20 gives you all the details on the incremental payments. But they are not really significant. What will be significant is to get the drill results by end of April to prove that Donovan 2 is a tier 1 asset.
High-grade VMS copper gold systems are very rare.
I'm also very interested to see how much gold there is.
You never know Smiler, There have been many (if small) meteorites found in Australian outback. They're worth a few bob too!
Haha
