Will be interesting to hear how sales of the PureScience products are progressing, too, given the size of the market when compared to head lice.
Attention great product great co pls give rt @JP_786 on twitter how I see the Co vamousse has hit the shelves in a big way co has more products but not much money so vamousse needs to be known pls pick up a bottle when shopping stick it on the normal shampoo shelves for more awareness in all honesty 1 times a year some one catches nits so they will buy what they always have without a second thought or glance ppl always use what they are comfortable with give them some awareness without a sales pitch by placing a bottle on a best selling brand for more promotion if u are a genuine investor every one is aware fca aim shorter don't give a f..k as long as they are making do yourself a favour rinse and repeat
You may well have seen this on another board but if not, a program on itv next Tuesday at 7-30 will be doing a piece on Super bug Headlice. Surely we will get a mention !!!
Now that 2016 is behind us I'm guessing we will receive a trading update shortly telling us how 2H/16 went. At the current lowly level any positive news could send the shares sharply higher. Fingers xxd.
https://www.smartpakequine.com/pt/outsmart-fly-spray-14237 It's great to see OutSmart relaunched as SmartPak are very keen on this TYRU product. The shares look attractive imo at just 2.0pence to buy at the close on Friday, particularly as the MMs were at the same moment bidding 1.875 pence for 500k . A bit risky maybe, yet a decent update could decisively turn sentiment.
Hi Jesk Equally disappointed with SP action here but think good potential, with Vammouse and Purescience. With horses yes flys can be an issue but mosquitos and ticks are not really the target in equine but in both domestic and particularly in production animals where the senior Managements expertise lies.
I like many on this board am disappointed with the recent share price, but I still believe the company has lots of potential. Vamousse is widely distributed in the USA, UK and now France and sales are good. Three new PureScience products have been launched in the animal health industry. If they are successful this could be massive. Also the Outsmart fly spray for horses has just been relaunched and is available in the USA through Smartpak. This is what they say about the product; Why We Love This OutSmart™ Fly Spray is new and improved! OutSmart is a next generation insect repellent effective against house flies, stable flies, mosquitoes, and ticks. Engineered to be smarter, it’s powered by Nature's Technology®, a patent-pending, innovative combination of plant-based ingredients.
Hi, I've held these for a while and still think good potential so may top up. Does anybody think we may hit a even soon, if not will they have to raise sole funds?
Sorry should have clarified-major market shift not really Vamoose but parasite control from conventional killing via GABA receptors etc to a more natural appriach
Hi S&S Hope you are well.Agree re Ex. Merial connections that there would be lots of contacts but Merial and BI are currently in process of " integration" so until finalised no decisions re TYRU. Also if you look at Current Merial Ecto P/F re Nexgard then it would take a major market shift for them to want to go for Vamoose. Not saying once established the TYRU AH Purscience range will not be a takeover targe but may not be from conventional AH outfits
I'm averaged in at just shy of 3p. I still have some that I paid 12p for but I picked up quite a few as low as 1.98. It has also occurred to me that Tyratech could be a sitting duck at this price, it must be a very attractive target for, dare I say it...Merial, although I do think it's a tad early for any takeover with Vamousse not yet fully established.
Impressive holding S&S (won't ask but hope you have a good median price too!). I'm confident that your patience will be substantially rewarded in the longterm. Question is how long we'll have to wait. I think there's a high chance that TYRU will get bought out or at least someone like Octopus increasing their stake. Maybe you could start by increasing to >3%?
gg-man, I first invested here almost 4 years ago, shortly after BJ was appointed, and have built up a considerable holding(1.8%). I'll be sitting tight until this comes good, however long that may take. S&S
S&S I feel your frustration but last RNS results was only out mid Sept? TYRU is one of my biggest holdings. It is a great little company, with excellent and clean environmentally relevant products and good management who are also invested. If you look at some of the option exercise prices for the management options a large part of them are are exercisable at prices much higher than today. The small problem that this company has is that the products are not very 'sexy' and their PR is not great (but getting better). I believe when the animal health side kicks in patience will be rewarded. If you are not patient you should sell up.
We need an update, and not another one which tells of delays, negative currency movements, no head lice in the middle of the head lice season or any other reason to trash the share price again. Allenby suggested France nor PureScience will contribute much in the 2nd half so where's the next piece of good news going to come from? I have no idea but will stick it out because as sure as day follows night if I sold there would be positive news published the next day.
is my top up below mid :-)
Cheers lospec Should really have looked back via RNSs. If that is the case- must make an alternative to try and get a bette feel for what is happening here.
or 07/10 even.
see Ivy's post of 08/10. Sorry for slow response, but this isn't exactly the most active of boards, so just check in once a week or so.
Yes TNT , perhaps the wrong combination of words. What I meant/mean is I no longer think the price recovery will necessarily be gradual, but that at sometime 'during' the next 6 months the rise in sp will be sudden. Of course what I don't know is exactly when! It's frustrating where we are now, but I'm not overly concerned as I'm convinced that this one is a medium term winner. I would like to see this touch 15p sometime before the end of 2017. Of course this is IMO and only speculative, NAI, DYOR, & ATJ. #NaturalBornWinners
Why have you posted this today lo? It dates back to June.
http://www.tyratech.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/AGM_Notice_120416.pdf The AGM is normally held in the US in June or July.
“Our research has revealed abnormal levels of frustration with head lice products relative to other OTC categories,” says Jonathan Hill, TyraTech country manager at Ceuta Healthcare, which markets Vamousse. “Head lice are notoriously difficult to get rid of, despite the use of expensive treatments, with blame commonly directed at products that fail to deliver against bold performance claims. A little understood fact is the most OTC treatments work on contact (therefore diligent application is key) and many require repeat treatment in order to be effective. Community pharmacists can play a key role helping parents to understand this.” “Ensure you are aware of the differences between types of product so you can educate customers and enable them to make informed choices on the best solution,” says Mr Hill. Vamousse is being advertised on TV and in cinemas during the August and September back to school period. The TV advert builds on mums’ sense of resignation at head lice returning, with the 30-second commercial telling the story of a new sheriff (mum) who is confronted by a marauding head lice gang in a classic Western stand-off. However, it’s “high noon” for these head lice as the sheriff has something new to fight them with. The brand has recently introduced a Vamousse Protective Shampoo for regular use during high-risk periods, such as back to school, or for protection from further outbreaks after treatment. Vamousse is also now included within the Minor Ailments Service in Scotland. Hedrin brand manager Caroline Wheeler, says: “Our research found a third of parents said they felt stressed when finding head lice in their child’s hair, with 47 per cent fearing they would be judged if they didn’t deal with them quickly. We also found that only 35 per cent of parents felt confident about their ability to deal with head lice, so there’s still some work to be done.” It’s important that pharmacy teams check that parents understand what to expect from a treatment. “Does it need a second application?” says Ms Wheeler. “If it is a physical killer, which does not work by poisoning, it needs to cover hair completely. Nits left on hair after treatment need to be removed physically – they are not a sign the treatment hasn’t worked. Children may still feel itchy after treatment.” Community pharmacy teams can expect an increase in detection rates around the back-to-school period. “This is a key time to increase visibility of head lice products and information,” she says. “Some parents can still be embarrassed about asking for products, so dual siting in front of counter as well as behind may help.” Hedrin’s packaging has been relaunched with colour-coded packs for easier selection and the latest addition to the range is Hedrin Stubborn Egg Loosening Lotion for nit removal. A new TV campaign
One questions. Does anyone know when AGM is and is it normally held in US or UK
