It's frustrating I would agree we have to keep the faith and hope the technology platform will eventually shine through. Fact is we don' have much choice but at least tyratech are still in the game.
If Boots is anything to go by, sales of Vamousse not going as well as we hoped (see link) http://www.boots.com/vamousse-160ml-treatment-mousse-10185182 The 25% discount suggest what I've always maintained, as a debut market product Vamousse was over-priced. Should have been sold as a loss leader, which worries me about our A&M strategy. Anyone heard any good news about Vamousse sales? Let's hope for better news from PureScience sales. Guardiam and Outsmart.
Something could well be afoot for we have seen around 10% of Tyratech's equity traded over the past month, mainly in the restricted class. The share price bumping along the bottom of its all time trading range is not encouraging though. As it seems unlikely that the 2016 results will provide any surprises on the upside, it could be the outlook for 2017 that yields some encouragement for shareholders.I certainly hope so,having majored on the stock at around 2 pence.
Well they have had months to get these results together so you would think that other news is ready to be announced but not yet finalised. May be the sale of our non core assets mentioned previously!
Anybody any ideas why the result have been delayed until the 9th May? Good news imminent?
Seems our FD is up to her neck in it. With other companies already updating shareholders with Q1/2017 results this lot still can't give us 2016 results 4 months into the new year. Shareholder communication is lacking somewhat.
Well like most investors I thought we may well have heard from the company today. I am still very confident that this technology will work commercially but sometimes you need a little more feedback than we have received over the last few months. Vammousse, Outsmart,Guardian, Puresceience all seem to be part of a great portfolio but better connection and a more frequent communcation with the investors from the company would help in the long term push of the brand and it's success.
Tyratech's technology platform seems resilient we are just not getting a reflection in the share price. Marketing and price are key variables
Tomorrow or Friday then.... It will be interesting to hear what management have to say about PureScience and French Vamousse, both of which have been out there for a year or so. Hopefully they will have had a decent first quarter overall.
Well we need pure science to deliver
Some decent reviews for the newly formulated Outsmart fly spray. https://www.smartpakequine.com/pt/outsmart-fly-spray-14237
Cheers warbrother666. I hope so too ! If Spreadex bought their 3.94% stake in TYR to part hedge a large spread bet then normal PI buying activity could cause them a headache. The shares were bought in two tranches,5,050,000 @ 1.75 pence on March 8th and 3,600,000 again @ 1.75 pence on March 16th(both after 5pm),with the TRI Notification being issued six days later. Subsequent to the RNS,the prices of both lines of stock were lowered with TYR in particular falling from 1.50-2.00 to the current 1.25-1.75.Actual trades have been priced at 1.30 for the sells and 1.62 for buys. Despite pretty significant buying(over 1.5 million TYR shares) in this generally very illiquid stock, strangely,no adjustment has been made to these prices, although some liquidity was provided on April 16th with a 2,500,000 sale again @ 1.30 pence. If this sale proves to be Spreadex keeping the price stable, then we should see a notification that their holding has fallen below 3% some time next week. In this event, assuming that they will see maximum profitability from a low SP,then a reasonable set of accounts could see the TYR share price run against them thus creating a bear squeeze on Spreadex, maybe forcing them into making additional purchases of TYR and thus further stimulating the share price. Much of this is hypothetical and just my thoughts. Even so,the next couple of weeks could be pretty exciting for stakeholders. The TYRU share price meanwhile has proved pretty resilient in the face of some fairly bulky sells
Wishing u all the best Lukehere hope it works out for u and all of us
A general election has been called here in the UK which is affecting the value of the pound and the market in general tyru is weathering this ok compared to some other share prices
Well I spent the day buying TYR shares which @ 1.64 look cheap relative to TYRU. Hopefully the prelims will not contain any nasty surprises.
The share price was around 5% down in early trading but then rallied back hopefully this might be significant
We appear to be experiencing a steady increase let's hope this keeps up getting back to the 30 pence days would be nice. Pure Science bring it on!!!!
We need to see clear results in the share price up to now it remains a frustrating process
I will second that warbrother666. Tyratech is an interesting company which has achieved much since Bruno took the helm.
Looks positive today tyratechs platform technology is clearly good just hope we all get a clear reflection in the share price
I am not sure, lospeculatore, although the USDA is in the process of tightening its rules in respect of organic status. The USDA organic seal, gained by Tyratech is therefore immensely topical with the new rules being enforceable from May 2017 . "The mission of the National Organic Program, part of USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), is to protect the integrity of organic products in the U.S. and around the world. This means creating clear and enforceable standards that protect the organic integrity of products from farm to table. Consumers trust and look for the USDA organic seal because they know that USDA stands behind the standards that it represents. "Today,(Jan 2017) USDA announced a final rule regarding organic livestock and poultry production practices. The rule strengthens the organic standards, and ensures that all organic animals live in pasture based systems utilizing production practices that support their well-being and natural behavior. It’s an important step that will strengthen consumer confidence in the USDA organic seal and ensure that organic agriculture continues to provide economic opportunities for farmers, ranchers, and businesses across the country. " The listing was granted for 14 months and it seems probable that renewal will be forthcoming on or before Sept 1st,imo.
Nice find, Luke. Shows extent to which PureScience range is gradually penetrating lucrative US organic market. I'm struggling to understand that expiration date for the licence, though. September 2017? So it's licensed for just 9 months? Is this a trial period do you think or do they have to reapply annually?
Tyratech's PureScience range has recently been classified as suitable for use, without restriction, in organic production or food processing and handling, according to the USDA National Organic Program Rule. Https://www.omri.org/mfg/tyr/products/tyr-6635-cert.pdf With organic production claimed to be more profitable than conventional methods, this classification should render the PureScience range attractive to both organic and non organic units alike.
With the onset of the fly season in North America several equine periodicals have been highlighting the efficacy of OutSmart in their March issues. These articles include several testimonials for the Tyratech product,a couple of which are detailed below. "Not only does OutSmart Fly Spray effectively repel insects, it also has a fresh, botanical scent riders love. SmartPak asked some of the industry’s top professionals to give OutSmart Fly Spray a try. “I’ve tried many other non-toxic fly sprays, but they never seem to work,” said Matt Mills, NRHA Professional and Reining Team Gold Medal Rider at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Germany. “From the moment I tried OutSmart, I was very impressed with how effective it was. I also like that the formula is made with plant-based ingredients, so I feel confident in using it on all of my horses.” Hope Glynn, owner and trainer at Sonoma Valley Stables in Petaluma, CA and 2013 CPHA Horseman of the Year says “Having a fly spray that is effective is important to me, and I can attest to the fact that OutSmart really works! Not only does it repel insects, but it smells great too and I no longer worry about what I’m spraying on my horses and around the barn.” (The Equine Chronicle/March Issue)
