HSBC has downgraded TalkTalk Telecom Group to Reduce with a price target of 82.00
reason for dip this morning i think. still think £1 is coming.
If the shorters closed on this, we'd be going up a lot quicker -- https://shorttracker.co.uk/company/GB00B4YCDF59/
Management want to know how you failed to run talk talk SP Down,
We even shorted it to low 91p? All you had to do was scare people in to selling.
You will possibly get a written warning but you failed here try to ramp somewhere else now.
Another penny and we are blue
RAMPING, look in a mirror son.
I got 50k in talk talk my opinion is this stock is cheap.
Nothing in life is guaranteed but but one thing pokerchips you have no stock fold my freind and move on.
bullish 3 gap downs. reversal day imo. finish above £1 hopefully.
What's the chances of a blue finish today ?
" Nobody buying at this price will lose money."
not exactly a statement you are allowed to make....uness you want to be accused of ramping
Nothing is guaranteed with regards to share prices
Nobody buying at this price will loose money.
Is up from here if your in good luck,
If your not move on and post on stock you like and I wish you all the best.
Not much chance of folding given that they had a £201m (net of issue costs) placing a year ago.....but that was the main shareholders having to dig into their own pockets ..and ..private investors were left with a 20% dilution... shareholders carry all the risk though...
But..with 1.146 billion shares now,the dividend is stuffed
pacemaker1000 - not quite true. TT have there own fibre network into BT exchanges (same as Sky and others) and principally use BT for the Exchange to property bit, again same as all the others offering BB services. Ofcom want TT and others to provide competition in this space and TT needs to be recognised for forcing the price of BB down. It was £17.99 a month before they started, when BT were the only game in town apart form Virgin in the south. The whole Telco market is difficult hence the mergers a couple of years ago. The competition authority and Ofcom though are unlikely to allow actions which reduce choice and competition much further.
Are there any?
Company has zero assets and survives on the whim of ofcom allowing it to steal BT's profits. After all TT is just a middle man with no actual own product.
Quite the opposite for me Dibeg, I bought more at 92 Good Luck all
The question remains .....why did Toscafund buy 16.2% of the shares ?....It hasnt exactly done them much good, so far
Hope nobody panicked and sold? If you did silly you.
Big buying opportunitie 92p lol.
Will finish green today poss 92p was bottom,
Who knows.
Maybe Charles will buy a few more at this price
" Can see Dunstone buying more at this price"
Well it wouldnt be very many given that he owns 28.7%.....and a 30% ownership would result in him having to make a takeover.offer..he doesnt want that
He owns 28.7% no doubt for the voting rights ....
To cheap to ignore,
Can’t see anybody loosing at these levels.
Bought some more this morning for 92p, happy with that,
Can see Dunstone buying more at this price
Capita never recovered...share price is 112p at the moment and the trend is downnnnn and with the Brexit situation will be back to 100p in no time!!! - not far from the lowest point; Capita and some other UK shares recovered for a short period quickly from 100 to 120 just because the markets had a good week and the sentiment was positive for investing/trading shares. Unless you bought at the bottom and sold on spike as a quick trade it was not a good investment!!!
Same example here: nobody knows where bottom is!
Best case scenario and i notice lately in many stocks, when this will hit the bottom traders will get a 20% gain and then this will retrace slowly ....
Investing at the moment in UK shares with huge amount of debt not a good idea, even if it looks cheap, cheap can become cheaper - no deal Brexit will see this and many other shares 20% down...have a look at what happened in 2016 on Brexit day!
CPI was a downer. Bought some myself Jan 18 after Woodford's goons had allegedly been in to see the mngt and they were reassured the divi wasn't getting cut. What happened next...
Joe, Cpi bought 4000 shares on 10/01/18'at 404.21p paid just over 16k sold on 6/02/18 at 199p total loss 8k. 53% loss
I've never returned to cpi it's one of my biggest % loss. Funny you came up with that stock lol.
You know and I know talk at this level is a total bargain ok it might not have bottomed who can predict that? You and me have and many others have put our hard eard money in there is no way you won't be making money at this level,
Telecommunications stocks have been out of favour but things change quick it's due a bounce soon investors will realise this soon and you and me are in, just sit tight and set a sell price and forget about it and wait for your pay day.,
Ps wish I had done that with cpi but it's never really recoved.
Couldn't have put it better myself Dibeg.
I remember a similar scenario on Capita maybe back in December when it dropped to a £1, some ill informed
un-invested poster came on and said "70p incoming" and a week or so later it was back up to 122 - lol
I have seen too many shares rise on bad news and drop on good news
So your not investing "shame that".
There are many stocks i don't like or want to buy but I have better things to do than run down something I have no interest in or ever want to invest in.
Good luck with your investments hope you don't come across some over opinionated idiot running down your investment.
Ps like Cey MTFB and MTR I own shares in all three GOOD INVESTMENTS see it's much beter to be nice.
