Looking much better than I anticipated today.Still underwater but nice to be wrong
sometimes!
Wow.. I’ve been so fed up with this share recently.. finally some meaningful move over 160. Patience is the key. Great to see the price being suspended because of the magnitude of the rise
Still a dog
Wondered where you'd gone GMHK.
I'm guessing the covenant one liner has been picked up on. This has been run by A trades for a while now and it must have been a short running which is now clearing. Hopefully with time we will nudge the RI price and even get in the 200's.
If this is a dog, I'm liking the sound of its bark today!
Well done to those that stuck with it all this time :)
I'll re-assess things in due course

It's a very pleasant surprise that's for sure. Hope it is sustainable and we see continued traction over coming weeks/months.
WT - you looked at VANQ ... stayed away from it yesterday but just bought in having read the RNS umpteen times. Seems like another market over-reaction. Certainly not a keeper but an interesting punt.
This is the most interesting part for me. The EBITDA line may be depressed currently but heavily weighted to higher quality business. Onwards and upwards hopefully! ? ?We have increased the speciality weighting of our portfolio to c.55% of revenue, and a higher proportion of EBITDA currently.?
Been passively sitting on my hands for couple of weeks as the price wasn’t doing anything exciting below 160. I was in a bit of disbelief at 138p yesterday with my unrealised loss of 26k at that point.. looking at the loss now being only 4k at 179p brings me much needed hope. My updated target for this company is 350p in the next 3-6 months. I have no intention to sell on break even at 186p as there’s hardly any better opportunity out there. I don’t think we need any other news as the market got its catalyst and is always forward looking so expectation is for a very modest recovery and growth.
Yes, I agree with you GMHK but I'd be more than happy if this got to the 250-300 in coming months. But then I'm also one of those that got out of RR. too early!
It may be a good bark, but it's still a bad dog. Bit me for 95% down on investment so I don't really care if it starts singing like Taylor Swift it's still a howler
I'm one of those long-suffering LTH's who've stuck it out, mostly because I dislike selling for a large loss. I've bought at all sorts of horrible prices before the fundraise. I also bought Rights at £1.97 and then (most fortunately and bravely) held my nose and topped up one final time in the 140's.
We deserve some good news! That the market is rewarding SYNT simply because the update doesn't contain another 'bomb' tells us something!
A long, long way to go but one can only hope this is the start.
This is incredible.. I’m green above 186. Almost going emotional after suffering 95%, deployed aggressive avg down procedure and it just turned positive 🥹 It’s been a wild ride boys. Hope more of you turn their investments around
P.S. we’ll likely see some pull back after such a huge pump
I've worked out that you must have £100k in here. Tekkers, it's not an amount I'd personally like to risk but based on the rise I would be holding
Yeah total cost of 100.4k with 54k shares. You can read my chat history.. it’s all there incl every time I was buying. Only reason why I pumped so much was that I sold loads of trustpilot shares with very healthy 75% profit. I would never pump so much here if it was purely my hard earned cash.
I've sold some. Will take the chance that this is sustained but just seems too extreme on 1m shares or so traded. Betting on that pullback happening in a week or sooner.
Ditto, try Friday
Dittoditto.
Earnings in 5 yr decline.S/ holders diluted.Unexpected opportunity to exit with v. Modest profit.Out for now but will keep an eye on.Do believe there are potential opportunities here.
Hi JW
I changed my mind on SYNT. Friday maybe. I think the share price will slip over the next few weeks. But in the next 3-6 months 250p so I haven’t really changed my stance. We will probably have to wait until the next TU.
Get out of VANQ it’s a value trap. Unless your in for day trade,
The outlaw of Chichester
Hi WT,
Like I said I sold some SYNT late yesterday (50% of what I had) and regretted it when the SP hit 215 this morning. I still think it will pullback. That kind of rapid rise on nothing particularly new will get some short attention as the fanfare quietens. I kind of wish I had the conviction to sell all I have ... but I don't!
VANQ is real short term for me. Looking at the trading its being sold off by someone so hopefully an RNS in coming days will confirm that. Doubt it will get to £1 like some hope, but 70-80p seems a realistic expectation.
I still have a chunk in FCH (again 50% of what I held into results)...that buyback can only drive the price higher and that's before any announcement on value around the US business.
Added yet more to MCG holding today .... so expect that one to drop from 71p to 65 tomorrow!! Maybe I should have gone your way and bought 888.
Howdey
No regrets in this game. If you sell to buy something else. Your doing the wright thing. I bought synt at 139p having sold dark to early. I’m doing the same now with synt and buying Wizz and 888. I have sold off 40% of my holding in synt.
When 888 have their results on the 26th. I shall switch my focus to pay.
Quid pro quo
Have you had Xaar before, they have been a cash cow in the past. I might buy some they also have their results 26th
Hi GMHK
How are you doing. The day before synt resultsi bought 8k at 139. The only reason I’m writing this is i had a similar amount of share’s as you. So we have a good reason to be smug. Read my previous post to see what I’m doing with them now. I thought i was going to have to buy you a valentines date. You can afford it yourself now!
HAPPY DAYS
Yes WT had XAAR before back when they were something like 40p during Covid and doubled rapidly. No idea where they are now. Really good business, IP protected and the type of industrial processes I can't imagine disappearing. In fact increasingly burdensome EU rules for marking product and the like probably help them.
I'm out of SYNT for now. I'll live with the regret of not holding a lot easier than not selling. Long time till we get any news again.
I’m struggling to understand why you’d both be giving away your shares so cheaply. I get your emotions play you and want to finally lock in some profits (especially you WT with your scalping strategy) but ffs you held it throughout the most painful time likely for about/more than 12 months.. why not hold it for, let’s say, another 2-3 months? Let the FOMO play its game on others.
I’m not allowing myself to go anywhere near sell button for synt. If it loses 10-15% during correction, be it.
WT, I take your claims regarding the size of your holding here and the timing you buy with a great pinch of salt since you seem to be proudly talking about them few days after the event instead of saying the same day.. so yeah.. whatever.
So where do you see this price going 250 or 200
