Excellent link...JonesRichard, the “slithery ramper” is described perfectly here, if you want a good example. Good luck for holders here by the way, Just stay clear of the likes of JR
Hi Weathergeek,
You really should read the RNS and not state things as 'good news' that are manifestly incorrect.
To state that "30 companies have given Euro 6.5 million" is simply untrue, on so many levels.
For a start, the RNS speaks of £ 6.5 million, ie Euro 7.1 million.
It tells us that the 30 Italian co's will be given a TARGET date for completion of October 2020, that the portfolio has an EXPECTED value of APPROX Euro 300million (which in itself tells you that they're not 100% confident of the no/amount - how could they reasonably be ? It's their FIRST 'public' monetisation effort) and is EXPECTED to generate an average £ 6.5 million.
We don't know how much of this - if any - has already been received in 'on-boarding fees' , it's still unclear (to me , at least) whether these are in addition to or part of SYME's standard fee. Maybe something to clarify before the next projection update ?
I would say 'stick to the facts' , they're actually mildy encouraging, but you spoil things and damage your credibility (by implication) when you misrepresent such basic info.
I actually think you - and others who carelessly or deliberately misquote RNS content - are ultimately doing the Company a disservice.
I also think in doing so that you're in danger of straying into this territory : https://seekingalpha.com/instablog/441189-mike-rabe/28602-15-ways-to-spot-stock-discussion-board-rampers
All IMO.

I bailed out of this today. Something about it just doesn’t sit right with my so I’ve taken the hit. More than happy to go back in once it’s a bit further along the line though.
I’m not fully convinced on the concept, some of the actions of the CEO have been very ‘amateur hour’.
Apunter2, we have completed our merry dance you will be pleased to hear from my end.
Good on verification, cr@p on judgement, bordering on delusional at the very least when asked a simple question. Me or you, you can be the judge of that!
Just for facts.. your full of ****e
I can post fro RNS
As part of the Agreement, Supply@ME will give the Bank pre-emption rights to invest in each securitisation note issue and other funding programmes, to support the Platform as it grows. In return, the Bank will provide up to €8bn of funding over five years, to support inventory funding across all of SYME's international operations. The Financial Partner has committed to recapitalise the Bank immediately following the completion of the Central Bank's regulatory banking authorisation process.
See proof. While you say because it’s not been named it’s not happening, or it’s all BS
I say because it’s in RNS form it will come
You say opinion and false facts while I post known knowns.
You are attacking the poster rather than the facts a well known practice for trolls
So again I have proven my point and you have proven nothing but a warped opinion based on nothing
So now

Apunter2. Point proven, you have no names. The only names we have so far are the companies behind SYME, which have less than stellar records. That you will not even admit SYME dont name companies they are 'directly' trading with, i.e. getting money from, kind of does give this the feeling or you being way too defensive or trying to deflect my point for your own reasons (i hope). However, I'm asking you a question, name one company in that last RNS? You read them over and over and over again, so surely if there is a name you have divined with your special company divining rods i can't personally see, buried below the legalese, like the Da Vinci code, please dish it up. I am waiting...
Just for facts man .. ehhh they are all over the RNS
These are the first companies in the portfolio
They are of various sizes ..
they “led” because one they are top of the supply chain and because they are the first to be securitised
You honestly think those companies are named in the RNS just for what Fun . They might of just as well said Unilever hahahahh
But I am just giving you air to keep posting the same
Crap
So I am done with you too
I think we are both on the same page of the long hold but how we end up getting to a successful position is of fundamental importance. Those 30 companies you mention are unnamed. Not only that, how could the FCA prove or even investigate that statement considering they are in Italy...i doubt they would even raid the company to find that info if it was a sole UK company? It looks like they are trying to fumble and bull**** their way to success, when to my eyes, according to the idea at the centre, they dont need to. They need to stop focusing on misleading us and worrying about pumping the share price unnecessarily because if they are trying to do that, you have to ask yourself why, it certainly isnt to help us planning to be long time holders. It seems geared towards the day traders and who can i ask has been selling and moving shares around recently in a confusing manner.
Weather geek and adding more in all regions
The first Client companies within the new operating regions of the UK, UAE and US are currently being analysed in partnership with local partners and inventory funders. Specific updates will be provided on each of these operating regions in due course.
By the inventory funders too .. note plural lol
The "Good news" is 30 companies have given €6.5m in revenue.
142 are on board so thats 112 left to "monetise"
If you are falling for the tactics of picking apart an RNS and seeing it as bad. You are handing over your shares to those predators that will BUY them of you after scaring you.
Anyone here follow the board history of NCYT this year? How about EUA? GGP? Seen it all before.
Just the facts man
If you or anyone else can’t dissect this from the RNS then it’s not my problem
The thirty Italian Client companies that form the first Inventory Monetisation portfolio will be notified that their target completion date is the end of October. This portfolio comprises corporates of various sizes which form part of supply chains led by the following companies.
Note Fist thirty companies, this portfolio.. led by the following companies
As I said your problem not mine
Also note I am putting forward the case for a long hold.. nothing more,
Come on apunter2, even in your occasional moment of doubt, you cant tell me you can justify naming companies they arent actually trading with to make it 'appear' like good news. And if they use that tactic in an RNS, what does it say about the reliability of all the content. And i know from person experience, the FCA isnt what it used to be. The balance has shifted towards being more business friendly, which opens up cracks...and this using deceitful language is no help. It should be called out by us, not them, and you are not helping in that regard by being a 'fact' proving cheerleader, proving facts that are dubious in many cases even you must find hard to put a spin on. We all have money in this and we need to know when we are being slighted or told the truth, its called monitoring a company...and i think we both agree, the idea itself is very exciting. And when the two mix, thats when situations like this arise and people stop trusting the company.
Just the facts man .. of course I do nothing else but quote the RNS’s .. it’s regulated by the FCA .
It’s a main listed company. If you you can’t read the RNS’s properly that’s your problem .
At least I am proving up my posts
You prove nothing but your full of blah blah blah
Is it a surprise, using RNS that mention big name firms they arent actually trading with to instil confidence in shareholders. Apunter2 may like to use his 'evidence' to support everything in a SYME RNS but that assumes everything in the RNS is as it seems. He just verifies what they are saying assuming it all to be true, using real rules and information to support each SYME assertion. However, time and time again, the RNS' just look like share pumps written in the worst kind of legalese where the reader can see what they want to see, and we still have no names. Investors arent all idiots, and why there may be over enthusiastic cheerleaders here, it looks like the tanking price is down to a lack of confidence in the wider world.
AZ needs to get a grip of his public relations, if he himself can recover from misleading, over enthusiastic, share pumping RNS'. I cant see anything that will stop this falling unfortunately. What read like 2 huge RNS' recently have not stopped the fall back to the 'real' value of the company as it is today, which, as sad as it is to me, doesnt look too high.
Still hoping for the future though. It will become serious when the RNS' are just the facts, written in plain English, and less a set of predictions using companies names they dont appear to be even trading with. There is a word for that!
