Our latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with QuotedData's Edward Marten has just been released. Listen here.
No change from Cyprus then, there was no way in hell they would have let a non-Greek Cypriot company take its gold. But I am sure the provisional drill info was very welcome, and all at our expense.
Yep. Its a sad truth but convincing a few villagers over an ouzo in a town hall cafe meeting when you turn up with your big plans makes it all the way through the food chain, and there is a little chance they will let foreigners 'steal' their natural resources. Rightly so I think. The notion of the fakelaki (envelopes stuffed with cash) still speaks louder than plans when it comes to lucrative business, especially when it concerns mining metals. Anyone with local influence will know exactly what's going on and monitoring what Caerus is doing. The idea that locals arent immediately thinking that these foreigners are coming to rip us off, even if they arent, will be an immediate thought, with it being naive to think any differently.
Antelope: I feel the same way as well, I went along with the hype and once again ignored my own initial thoughts thinking it would be different. Maybe it still will but I doubt it. Maybe someone from the company could fill us in on such issues and what they are doing to make sure something is binding. If there isnt anything, I doubt anything will happen and this share will end up like Bezant Res, full of promise but just a cash cow for the owners wages.
Knowing one or two things about the local mindset, getting a foreign company in to do all the expensive work is pretty savvy. Allowing them to drill and then process such easy to process material is another. Why wouldnt they protect their own resources is a question I keep asking myself. I hope I am wrong but I am guessing this has much to do with what feels like delays to moving forward. It could unfortunately be an expensive money pit, with the values already published being circled by powerful local forces ready to take over operations themselves at some point in the future.
I wonder if there are rumblings behind the scenes about the status of CBD in the UK. I doubt it considering the way these clowns we have elected consider many freedom of choice issues but just maybe we are moving towards the European and US liberalisation policy, and not the same direction as China that the recent UK white paper seems to be suggesting, i.e. a carte blanche ban. Time will tell I guess but a rise is certainly welcome.
Still a strong believer in the use of cremes and things for sport recovery will be a game changer for us here as ours is synthetic CBD, if only our gov would step aside and stop preventing the inevitable future from arriving soon.
That light at the end of the tunnel just got a lot closer in one rather large jump, almost like half the tunnel got chopped out!
Agreed Cheezer! Get this one right and things could take a turn for the better quite soon. It seems they have enough contracts to keep the company going and paying staff, so lets hope this is the start of something much bigger than might lead to a significant jump in profits, and accordingly, benefits our end. But they have to pull off a blinder with this first one, so hopefully its not too much for them and they can get their **** sorted out and put everything into it.
It seems like the biggest win so far since I've been invested. Lets hope things are picking up pace now after Covid shut the world down for so long and ruined many an ongoing negotiation!
Very interesting but i didnt really know how to interpret that. Could someone a little less late to the share than myself like to add if this is a positive or negative in the current situation?
It's all looking good from my eyes. I would also prefer things to move faster but they are just starting to get things out, testing the waters, sorting product quality/consistency, just about to start introducing themselves, which is from what I can tell pretty normal. And this is before the sports range, something that wont even be associated with the magic plant, and i assume a go to for most athletes wanting to be as far away from dubious drug tests as possible.
I agree the price seems steep right now for me but it is clear CBD and CDG, and many other things yet to be toyed around with, will indeed be playing a major part in the non-lethal, non-addictive future of most of our health. Hopefully scale will lead to lower prices but things are looking rather rosy to my eyes.
The company is just getting going and it seems many here have already written it off. That's fine but i would get out quickish if I was looking for the quick cash because its going to be some time before the money starts rolling in and the share price starts going north. To me, this is still very much a good bet but its going to be a journey based on yearly figures, increased sale sites, better understanding, improved market recognition, etc, etc, all things with a rather lengthy time scale.
So, anyone have any news about the webinar that took place?
Looks pretty damn good news to me as well.
I doubt much will change until the Malta facility gets up and running, and we find out some specifics about what it wlil be doing/making. I doubt its herbal pill to cure covid will do much but happy to be proven wrong. I just keep my fingers crossed they come up with some good cannabis based products whether CBD or THC based, and if Roby Zomer is involved in all these other companies, that he isnt spread too thin (which its pretty obvious he must be if hes active in all of them).
Still, got a relatively big stake (for me), so hoping everything works out eventually.
I think they must be just about ready to announce that new coffee supplier...
...and with a hell of a lot of wasted plastic and metal if they are throw away.
Its a bit like those coffee pods, is it worth wasting that much plastic just for a cup of coffee, or in this case, a few smokes.
Dang, you would have thought they would have that covered being rather high in price. At least they have plenty of time to rectify such a blatant slip up...its mail gifting credentials will take a severe hit if its not boxed/packaged like something rather unique and trailblazing.
Will be interested to hear about the results of any tests uses....the fun part, re the capsules.
Just out of curiosity, any honest first impressions after opening the package?
The stuff's certainly out of my price range and nothing I would personally use but that's not really important. If they get the marketing right, it makes no difference if its mass or niche market. And we still have all the fully legal sports cremes and gels to come, and I am sure other things as well. CBD, CBG, be confident, it certainly works when its from other things! No reason this lab made stuff shouldn't hit the jackpot if they get the marketing right! Its a steal right now in my opinion...roll on!

Hi Daniel, as a listed company we can't release material news over platforms like Twitter and you'll always here it first via the RNS news service ( you can sign up on our site for automatic updates ) - rest assured marketing activities will increase substantially this month.
I wish i had heeded these warnings from the past. If you cant make cash out of music over 18 months when live music and the like has as good as been cancelled and everyone is living online more, then you are never going to make it. The names they have to attached to their events are unknowns (to me anyway), the download site getting complaints due to misleading quality labelling, the focus on those fitness offerings a non-starter and the tracking side of the business a little creepy (to me anyway). It doesnt look good.
Paul2566: No, MGC are clearly legit, I'm more concerned its a scam site, with the lack of spellchecker use being a potential giveaway for such an esteemed product (and a product I couldn't find for sale anywhere else).
