two yes votes and the fat lady sings
Thanks, Chesh.
Would be good if someone knows about this for sure. If two yes votes on 3rd March seals the deal, then any other offer would need to be made before that or risk being pointless.
.......... siting next the most beautiful bay in the world............. :)
excellent ............. :()
All the best (the surf is good, sometimes :)
Don't know fo sho Dumbly.........!
but my take is, if voted through the deal (fate of PIs') is sealed..........!
All the best (IMO :)
Both PM and also then chancellor gave nothing away. Amazed at how the government even at 11th hour is not coming in to rescue life saving of local and other PIs. They only need to guarantee and AAL would disappear out sight instantly....we might be in position to get rid of both BOD and JPM too..
Sorry if this has already been answered...
If at the meetings on 3rd March the outcome of both votes is yes, to approve AAL's offer, is it still possible, procedurally, for a competitive offer to be made from another entity? If yes, until when? Until the Court approval Hearing scheduled for the 20th March?
Read more carefully instead of changing words
I agree with Yellow AlanG - all investors that have already sold have lost money - probably a lot of them would buy back in in a heartbeat under the right circumstances. Join ShareSoc -
For those of you that haven't voted yet ?? If your vote is through a broker please check the cut off date !!

any need for the abuse scott1092 ? it seems there no room for a different view. i live in the area and if you think 5.5p is bad then i dread the reality of 0p. you probably dont care about that based on the rage you post
ill leave you to it. i think it will always shock me that people want to bring everyone else down because they , like we all did , made a bad investment call on a great project. i hope you can get over your bitterness one day.
Id pay to see fraser infront of the select commmittee
Plus, of course, a government guarantee does not necessarily involve any tax payers money, especially if the mine gets up and running successfully
I'd like to see more of him; perhaps in front of a Select Committee like Philip Green or Bob Diamond.
Yorkshirebred
Not only that but without a market for Poly4 created using our money, Boulby would almost certainly have closed.
We deserve better treatment.
Karma is good but I find it needs a helping hand sometimes.
OR
The mine would never have gone ahead without our equity. Full stop. And there would have been nothing generated for the area. SXX needed us just to get it started. Have you conveniently forgotten that reality?
I too stand to lose all my pension pot that was supposed to go towards my daughters' Uni fees and my old age!
Yes, I understood the rules of investing BUT, this project was SOLD by Chris Fraser as a worthwhile project and a long term investment for the "little guys"....... I have voted NO.
'Has any local MP brought the subject up at PM questions in the HP?' - not sure who the local MPs are but you can search Hansard:

Ceractico. Sirius may have started off as Aim listed but in recent years had had a full listing. People invest in Aim listed companies in the knowledge of the high risks, and potentially high rewards involved. What has happened here is absolutely no reflection of the market it was listed on, it was always high risk and seems that people have been seduced into investing far more than they should have. Would be interesting to know how many of those who have lost a lot took professional advice before investing.
I have been posting on this board for more years than I care to remember and my first investment was pre planning days so this is my second time around at 5p.
C.F. Used the help of the local community to gain planning permission for this project as their would not have been a cat in hells chance of any large mining company getting approval ( well done Chris )
Then at every oppertunity C.F. Bulled up the potential of the mine saying it would be a FTSI top 100 would extract Polyhailite at minimum cost and maximise profit on which dividends would be paid !! And all this with a 100 year life span and C.F had the cheek to bismurch investors who had sunk their life savings into his mine.
The mine would not be where it is today if it was not for the £1.5 billion already invested by loyal hard working investors who were hoodwinked ( me to ) by his silky tongue promising j curve and dividends .
We were then asked not so long ago to dig in again and snap up a bargain price of 15p !! Don't tell me C.F did not know or anticipate what lay ahead !!! But we got rinsed for more money to keep things on track for the takeover .
I invested over a long period and held 1 million shares average 13.5 p and sold at 5.41 !! Nice one C.F .
I feel we have well and Truley been mislead and getting JPM involved who Aledgedly were trying to get the bonds away were shorting Sirius !! And C.F felt comfortable dealing with them heads I win tails you lose .
I hope for those still invested that things work out but seeing our company given away for £385 million is a total joke and salt rubbed in the wound when they say they are doing investors a favour !! The next time I buy a car on the day it's due to be paid for I think I will offer 5% of the value and say I am doing them a favour see how that goes down.
We have been ROBBED !! I personaly would NEVER invest in another AIM company the money I came out with is now invested in Dignity and Shell at least they tell the truth and don't set out to use you and cast you aside once your use is not required .
I hope the charletons get their just reward for wrecking so many peoples life's , dream,s and trust .
The £81k loss hurt but won't change my life like it will for many who were taken in .
i like a lot of others on hear stand to loose a considerable amount if the shares are stolen at 5.5p, however i have voted no because i would rather loose the lot that see the current management transfer unscathed , there may yet be a better offer come forward and if not then i will of relearned a lesson, eggs and basket comes to mind
Phiss31 this turkey dont belive the fatcontroller and his cronies. Now sell up and leave the turkeys to it
Has any local MP brought the subject up at PM questions in the HP?
My experience of the politicians is that they are burying their head in the sand until it goes away and hiding behind the jobs being kept on despite the shenanigans.
i feel for everyone whos lost money on this, esp as ive lost a shot load myself. i dont blame anyone else but me though. ive read the annual report risks and other warnings in the prospectus before loading up in the 15p raise. my decision and noone else to blame.
still holding and hoping for the best. still dont understand why turkeys would be voting for christmas by voting no
