I knew Neil back in the mid nineties when he was at perpetual and he was a really nice bloke who followed his convictions and met him again about four years ago at his patient capital gym and he’s still a nice man. He is arrogant but so many at the top are , I hope our CF is too tbh as I don’t think it’s a bad quality? I also think the Woodford funds would have come good but sadly he’s run out of time. I really hope cf stays in charge is the Sirius story as I believe he’s the best man for the job so let’s not give too much control away getting stage two done. GLa Ffc
I understand why without the bonds the rcf was a no go , does that mean without the rcf no bonds ? could we get 2/3 hundred million away in bonds now to get the risk reduced ? or is that just to simple ? We seemed happy at the premium but JPM were not ...
And when we get the "risks" out of the way we will have no problem getting the rest of the money !!!!! IMO the IPA will never think we qualify ,It will always be too risky or not needed ! As for the Gov not wanting to reap the benefits when it's profitable ? they know if it's worth building ,someone will build it ! We just gotta hope it's us ! ffc
Well said reckless , thanks Bellers I only wish I wasn’t over300 miles away. You did make think when you commented about the distances involved . Put a destination of 23 miles away from you in your head and that does feel petty awesome! Or the 1500 meters depth . What is so hard to do is separate your investment with reality and then think about it failing ? It truly would be a travesty on every possible level ???? So imo this really can’t be allowed to fail and justice says it will be with us as the beneficiaries!!!!
