Fair enough , nothing would surprise me but surely we can’t go much lower than this ? Personally I didn’t see it going below 11.50 , I’m actually more nervous than I’ve ever been re results ! I really will be disappointed if it was a poor 4th quarter ! I need Burford to be about more than petersen or Sysco etc etc

I’ve had a buy order in for over 9 days at 11.55 , gave up yesterday and bought at 11.71 😡 bloody typical 🙄

Don’t be a party pooper NGR ? I’m happier to settle for a fraction of 11 billion than a fraction of 11 million!!!! But I can assure you clients that have aspirations of wins in the hundreds of millions and into the billions come to Burford rather then the opposition more often than not wouldn’t you say ?? On that note I’m guessing that most holders here are not actually expecting the full 16 billion from the ypf but I for one am very glad that’s the award and starting point is so high !

Ok so maybe I was wrong to see the borrowing as a positive? Looks like both sides of the pond are not impressed? Sp tanked over the water and whilst it’s very early it seems to b tanking here too ? Unable to take advantage sadly but if the slide continues I’ll find a few pennies from somewhere!!

My god we’ve had to be so patient holding bur so it’s very difficult to change the mindset re the Petersen/ Eaton park case but with the change of government and the award made I honestly believe that we will press on now in every department! Three or four years ago I’d have been positive that tomorrow would see our sp head north significantly now of course we’ve all become a little less optimistic , well on this occasion I do feel ( even without nyse open tomorrow) we should inch forward so I’m hopeful at least!! What I would like to see though with our win and litigation in general in the press is for burfords investor relations to up their work rate and promote our shares like never before ! Mind you I know litigation is in the news more because of the PO scandal , but the general public still see it as filthy lawyers getting rich ? Anyway that’s my bit of rambling over , suffice to say any day now hopefully we will get news of a nice deal done and a 50% plus increase in our investment overnight ?????

Not to sure it will drift very far ( bwtfdik) but it will certainly continue to fluctuate as per usual. , probably getting close to risk of getting your fingers burnt if you do play though ???? I’ve certain never risked being out completely and just playing with a small trading pot.

Does anyone know the series of events that happened before the payment to Repsol was made ???? Eg, publicly announced plan to pay pending a government vote or did it just happen out of the blue ????? I’m being a bit naive but just hoping to have an idea of the process before we hear anything???? I’m guessing we may just hear a plan has been agreed by Burford subject to government approval ????

Well I def don’t want to be out for at least 2-3 weeks before results as surely momentum should grow from there ?? Trouble is it doesn’t seem like any of us really know when results will be so yes I won’t be playing in a couple of weeks time ! Predictable rise then drop this morning so gained a couple today though
