An78uts - that’s right! IG and II are both brokers which can trade on ASX
Contacted me to say they dont trade and i could either sell or have a certificate. Assuming i get the certificate then find a broker that does trade them?
Indeed! Definitely going to be keeping half my NWF holding to see where they go - it wouldn't surprise me if news flow is quite quick once the deal is completed...
I am thinking of holding my newfield shares a few weeks. Sell on a rise Gla
Hi , Interactive investor will deal your NWF shares on asx the shares go into your normal portfolio to buy n sell just got to watch you times eg 12 h diff .check out their website its all there . I think this will clarify to shareholders who think omg how do I sell my 12p shares lol !!!
Looking at the timetable, my assumption is that NWF will come out of suspension on 4th May
Does anyone know if Newfield will come out of suspension again prior to the takeover being completed or is it now suspended until that point? Wondering if we'll get any further indication of where the NWF price will be prior to it all happening.
any broker that does not trade on ASX stocks would send you a share certificate out
Just emailed x-o; as i'm not even sure how i would get my Newfield shares!
Wish I'd kept some more aside now to get some more at these levels but can't win them all.
Soley - correct, though there is some debate on how much profit you’ll get dependent on what the SP will be when NWF comes out of suspension once the deal is completed. Absolute worse case scenario is 0.15c, which equates to STEL SP of 7.5p. Most think a NWF SP of 0.20 post suspension is more likely though. I’ve bought some more at these levels. As always DYOR! GLA
Everyone is always suspicious on aim and by the time most realise this is a good deal you won't be able to buy shares. Make sure you can trade ASX shares on your platform and it's win win from there. Few more weeks and all will see
So buy some shares at 5.25p and sell them at 10p in a few weeks I’m I missing something.....
My first buy of these, almost 7 years ago, was at the old .035p. They were worth .003p when they 'consolidated'. At current price they are worth .001p in old money!
We are down 5% not 8% and 5.5 was the natural position we have been at many times now. It's just AIM and people chasing rainbows elsewhere. Watch this rise rapidly as the time to get in closes.
Not at all! Even at an absolute worse case scenario (i.e. NWF SP drops to 0.15cents after coming out of suspension) you’d still making a 40% return buying STEL shares at these levels.
easier just to buy and hold NWF stock after the consolidation of all shares added in
Another 8ish percent down. Is anyone here getting nervous Yet?
Let's not forget the assets here and the rest is only a matter of time. This raise for NWF will give them exactly what they need to get this into production Timing is everything with shares
27th of April 07.30
JimBL - crikey! What price was it at IPO?
Amen, brother. 96.7% for me! Worst (first) AIM buy I have made, but sure taught me the ropes.
That sounds like me JimBL, I'm 92% down on this donkey! I'm sertainly NOT going to invest any more money just to go from one UK lame duck to an Aussie lame duck!! Just my honest opinion. Does anyone know when (or if) trading will be suspended in Stellar shares before the takeover? Thanks and GLA
Let's hope so - but it's all relevant to when you bought in. Many real LTH's still left in here as it wasn't worth selling and still isn't! Have to be some seriously large rises for them (us) to get any money back. This sale helps none of us in that position - unless NWF manage to do what STEL hasn't in over a decade.
Hi JimBL, agree with your point, a long way to go and lots of hurdles in the way before production, but I would imagine that the nwf share price will be significantly higher than its current A$0.24, at the time of production. I would expect there will be numerous opportunities to cash out with a healthy profit before then.
