Yesterday, I sat at distance and had a couple of beers with a friend who I have not had any contact with since lock down began and his wife who is a senior nursing sister on a Covid unit. She has been returning home with tears in her eyes, saying that they are powerless to save people that are awake begging for her help, because they are drowning. It is the lungs that fill up with fluid and the patient can no longer get air into the lungs, and subsequently dies. She also stated that they are using nebuliser drugs to ease breathing difficulties in many patients at an earlier stage and her opinion is that no 2 patients have followed the same pattern. She gave examples of people who have recovered in a week and others who have taken much longer, and sadly the ones who did not survive.
At this point I told her about my investment here and what it aims to achieve. Her response was, "Anything that helps breathing will be welcomed by all staff battling this virus". She continued to tell me how the news channels are not showing the real picture (Just concentrating on figures ie the R rate), saying if she had a TV camera crew on her ward and it was aired on TV no one would flout the rules because the truth would be revealed, how people are suffering to death and the staff are powerless to help them.
She has 37 years NHS service and had tears in her eyes discussing this with me which made me realise this is very real. We reside in Sheffield and she was a newly qualified nurse when the Hillsborough disaster unfolded all those years ago and she says that was very upsetting with many staff requiring counselling after the event but this is far worse as the staff have limited resources and no cure to help patients recover.
I don't mind admitting her story brought a tear to my eyes too, as I felt so sorry for a lovely woman who is trying to save peoples lives, but sadly so many do not recover. This investment for me now is not all about financial gain but helping to save lives and the economy, with the latter meaning all other holdings will start to recover slowly. A bunch of flowers are en-route to her.
Stay safe everyone please.
If anyone finds anything written in spanish and can't translate it on google etc then post it here in spanish and I will get it done! A British friend of mine as spent 80% of her life in Spain and grew up attending school in Madrid and now speaks 6 languages fluently, including English with a Yorkshire accent
If we do go it alone then dividends will be paid. I did some calculations this morning and told myself they were wrong, so I did them again and again and the amount we could potentially see being returned. I am not saying my calculations are perfect as I have had to make assumptions due to lack of facts.
$3 400 000 000 current metals plus $600 000 000 copper = $4b
$4b - capex and opex over 20 years = $1.5b (Assumption) = $2.5b or c £2b
That equates to around 12p per share drip fed to us over the years ahead which for a lot here is retirement. Even if you think the capex and opex figures are too low adjust them and the returns are still great. Even if you go as low as 5p the reuturns are still 1st class. I will leave you to work out in SA Rand BricksSA! Bricks PANR, I have a small holding, but the risk is still there, albeit less.
If LR pulls this off then his comments about shareholder value will sit well with everyone associated with EUZ. One little thing to remember is the warrants outstanding so assume they are exercised and 20b shares in issue, and it is still a great amount of cash.
Been watching on all day here and refrained from posting until now. First invested November 2018 at 2.8p
I have to agree with a lot of what as been raised here today. But there are a lot of big players on BLOEs books. Solo director "Alastair Ferguson" etc. They know more than us, so keep the faith for now. The major hurdle here is, "Where does the next tranche of cash come from"?
An open offer to existing shareholders should maybe considered as raising through the city at 1p is a complete NO NO. Farm in may be an option explored. It appears to me PH is very astute at running a company but his PR is not the best. The cash position doesn't sit well with me as I thought like AJW that we should have $8m plus CAB, but in reality we don't.
We don't have a lot of oil in the tank either which is another concern as the RNS stated the amount was at a much higher price than current brent.
I am genuinely sorry for those of you that are heavily down on your investments but my average is only 2.67p so I will hold patiently for now, maybe topping up on any drops over the next weeks ahead.
Dillon hasn't got a TV. Dillon hasn't got a radio. But Dillon has a computer but can't do research. To describe CV-19 and anything which may help eradicate / ease it as a "PUNT". is very worrying. Dillon are you a schoolboy typing on here or an investor? I hope all of the shares on here to do with CV-19 do well and hope a cure is found ASAP and the world goes back to normal. SNG is just one of them hoping to ease the problem until a vaccine can be produced.

Great news financially for us all invested but I would give this up just to see everyone back to normal. Lets hope this is a success and it helps people which is far more important than a profit at this time on my portfolio. I must be having a brain bleed!
Anyone new here should read and re-read the RNS 27th January to evaluate where this is going during Q2 this year and then beyond. 18 months time this will be a cracker IMO. Just wish I had more spare cash but in these times cash is king I suppose to keep the food on the table and the baliffs away from the front door. Bills still need paying with no income in my case. The Govt scheme in place does not cater for me and a few more in the same situation.
