Ktf: "I suspect the delays are because all the bits are intertwined."
Assuming he is not privy to inside information, the poster has no idea what the delay is.
"This is not a Catch22, but a careful juggling act. I for one believe the BOD are doing well."
Most rampers (claim to) believe stuff for which they have no evidence.
"Everything they say they will do, they do, albeit often delayed."
The delays are what is killing the SP. It doesn't matter a shiny shillelagh stick to shareholders if SOU gets to first gas with their equity destroyed. 85% of it is already gone compared to a few years back when the assets were valued at 27p/share. For some it's already a sh*tshow no matter WHAT happens.
"Obviously this view won’t suit the agendas of the bashers".
Yawn.
Why haven't cavalley walked away yet..think about it.only a few more weeks and it's boooom time
I suspect the delays are because all the bits are intertwined.
So, the bank won’t lend unless there’s a partner to bring their exposure down to 65%.
Calvalley probably won’t sign until they know the rest of the financing is secured.
The bank also won’t lend until the GSA is updated and signed.
This is dependent on Moroccan governmental approval.
The FID can’t happen until all this is in place.
This is not a Catch22, but a careful juggling act. I for one believe the BOD are doing well.
Everything they say they will do, they do, albeit often delayed.
My view is that a lot of these delays are out of the hands of Sound. The main one being getting time in a busy governmental schedule.
Obviously this view won’t suit the agendas of the bashers, buy heh ho, we’ll find out soon enough.
If I’m right, I’ll make money and move on.
If I’m wrong I’ll lose money and move on.
Judging by the track record of the current CEO and what he's done to the company he worked for previously, I have no hope left for SOU. He will destroy SOU before retiring
I do wonder why the Calvalley deals hasn't completed yet. If they were going to walk away they would have by now. Could Sound be renegotiating to cover the capital deficit for a bigger piece of the asset, it's a form of dilution but one I'd prefer. For the love of god no more death spiral bonds.
I'd like to see a clear & concise road map with updated time schedules. Trying to protect the share price drip feeding snippets of information to twitter/X ends up doing more bad than good.
Ps200306
A very good friend of mine also invested in SOU close to 10yrs ago. Fortunately for him he has a job, infact a good one, he also diluted his shares.
2yrs ago i too invested in SOU but sold my shares for a profit. Recently on YT came across an analyst calling NG companies to increase their SP into 10X. i invested couple of 1000s in a ISA. I expect the 10x coming soon by Apr24 or 25 latest.
@WoundLick, was in a similar boat when I sold most of my holding a little under three years ago. Couldn't / wouldn't get my average down any further and on current SP Angel projections I still stood to lose more than 75%. I don't so much regret not selling at the peak -- I was already retired 25 years ahead of schedule -- but I DO regret catching the falling knife so hard on the way down. Has put a slight dent in the retirement fund. That said, even *I* am gobsmacked to note that the share price has HALVED since I sold. For a company that has been on the journey to gas revenue for so long I find this very curious (in a disturbing way). Time is not on SOU's side. Every schedule slippage in the past two years has been injurious to the balance sheet, leaving SOU starved of cash and needing to raise funds at a very low market cap (even when raises were sneakily done on the back of "good" news and temporary euphoria). It seems to me SOU is running out of road. That's not a prediction of doom, but it's certainly a raised eyebrow in the absence of any news about what the hell Graham is up to.

2024 Stock Reports are SOUND - BUT BUY BUY
"It's only those who bought at more than a few pennies that can be fairly well guaranteed to never get their money back."
Too true unfortunately. I'm hoping that about half or just under half my original investment will be returned over the next year or two. But I'm not holding my breath. Difficult not to look back in hindsight and think if I'd sold at Sound's peak in 2016 and invested that into a non-risky crypto like ETH (well, non-risky as far as crypto gets) then I'd be a multi millionaire by now, fully retired about 25 years ahead of schedule and living a life of luxury. In fact I've calculated that I would have made about £31m by 2021 (insert monkey with hands in front of eyes emoji).
Just goes to show that time travel/going back in time is not possible and probably will never be possible, otherwise I'd have done it by now! (as in my future self). Oh well, it could be worse. At least I don't live in North Korea.
Not a BAD DAY Guys….

"I'd be amazed if kylie/PS/trellis/keepitfiction (at least) are not all the same person."
Interesting analysis from someone who claims to have had me blocked for years. For the record, I have been a Sound shareholder for more than seven years, and have posted screenshots of my holdings to lunatics like ktf who just make up stuff to suit their own biases. I have no idea who kylie is or what their motivation is and I have never posted on this board under a different username. My posts are based on my personal view of SOU's troubled situation from publically available information. In fact, much of the negativity is "postdiction" from stuff that has already happened, i.e. decimation of the target share price by dilution of equity. The effect on individual shareholders depends on their breakeven price, so one person's bad news is another's buying opportunity. It's only those who bought at more than a few pennies that can be fairly well guaranteed to never get their money back.
I have been a SH for a long time now, my average is still higher than I like but have taken my stand to remain at my current level.
I have filtered many over the years.
I agree, I too am hopeful for a successful outcome but if not it was my decision.
K75 and others can say what they want, best not interacting, all are allowed their rants and angry objections to others having views that don’t agree with theirs.
I think news is imminent and not just basing that on today’s price rise.
Good luck to all holders.
I like that Review Ducati2, your the Man !!

What can help AND change this is SOUND - BUY BUY BUY
Fossil Fuels
Imported fossil fuels including refined oil, gas, and coal, currently provide over 90 percent of Morocco’s energy needs, according to the World Bank. In order to meet the growing demand for electricity and address certain issues arising from the significant expansion of renewable energy, Morocco plans to diversify its generation mix by increasing the use of liquefied natural gas (LNG). In May 2021, the Moroccan Office of Hydrocarbons and Mines (ONHYM) launched a call for expression of interest for development and operation of an integrated FSRU terminal off the Atlantic coast. ONHYM will launch a call for tenders or a Public Private Partnership (PPP) in the future. The initial scope of the FSRU project in Morocco is for an annual requirement of 1.1 bcm by 2025 rising to 1.7 bcm in 2030 and 3 bcm in 2040.
In August 2021, the Moroccan Ministry of Energy, Mines, and the Environment announced a new national roadmap for the development of natural gas 2021-2050. The roadmap lays the groundwork for the development of natural gas for industrial needs initially, followed by domestic needs, while continuing its development to integrate electricity generation needs. The first step in this roadmap would be to put in place a regulatory framework for the natural gas sector. The second step would assess demand as it has evolved from recent years to current consumption, as well as its potential for future demand. The third stage would evaluate the various options for supplying natural gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG), in particular by gas pipelines, floating storage and regasification units, on shore terminals or even multidirectional flows. Also it would evaluate the deployment of a new transport network in order to link all the components of the gas plan and to develop their own capacities for the reception and storage of natural gas and LNG to ensure a secure supply.

Thanks KTF
Also, I did point out that an official update was overdue, but take by the reply that they expect to avoid the need for an update on delay by simply getting the news out very soon. This was implied, not said before anyone moans.
I have mailed Sopund (Sarah) twice since the New Year.
both times I have received replies from Tim Thompson and lately had confirmation he has taken over shareholder comms from Sarah for the moment.
I did not ask why as none of my business.
However, I was satisfied and fwiw encouraged by the replies. All is progressing and at final stages on a number of matters.
Hi all, can i make a suggestion that the more of us emailing the company asking for updates/ progress might push them into some action. I know they must be as eager as us for good news but radio silence is just not good enough in my opinion.
im hoping any day now we get a really good RNS and can kiss goodbye to the naysayers
Suggest you stop giving them oxygen. I suspect they have an incentive from putting in some time and may have a vested interest in seeing Sound go down. I recently used my filter for the first time (on Kylie and Pescado). Highly recommended !!
It's absolutely staggering that someone could be so obsessed as to keep posting day and night about a company they have zero financial interest in, even when the market is shut for the holidays.
How sad a life he must lead.
I stand by my previous comment, I'd be amazed if kylie/PS/trellis/keepitfiction (at least) are not all the same person.
Going forward I won’t engage with him as it just feeds his need for attention.
This does NOT mean I have no answer for the BS, just I have better things to do with my life than arguing with an obsessed moron.
News soon from Sound I would say 😊
This board has been absolutely ruined by Kylie's/PS's nonsense.
Rubbish from a completely twisted individual who has multiple identities on this board and who has 'good cop, bad cop' rants with himself. Completely irrational nonsense which is impossible to fathom for the sane amongst us.
Re Kylie75. Apparently not invested!
On the 8th January you first posted @ 10:25 am.
Your final post of the 8th January was @ 23:59.
So for what purpose. Perhaps find a nice book to read if you’ve too much time to twiddle your thumbs.
You really can’t rationalise madness.
I think we ‘investors’ are overdue some form of update from Sound.
Another photo from site or even a smiley (or sad) emoji from Graham.
I’ve never referred to your money or your investment once chappy. I’m talking about sound. Don’t get confused or try and change the subject, makes you look defensive re your decisions and views. Oh hang on…..
