"If Newmont decides to stay in Ecuador, it will seek to acquire 100% of the Fruta del Norte mine and expand its interest in the Cascabel project. I believe that Newmont will stay in Ecuador and use the path opened by Newcrest in its strategy to fully enter Fruta del Norte and expand its stake in Cascabel."
BBG thanks for the excellent posts.
My personal belief is that we're very near the end of a savage bear market and that's what will drive the timescale of offers, whether that be for Cascabel or the company as a whole. I don't think there's any major that wouldn't want SOLGs assets as there's not many around of the sheer size and scale that's in Ecuador. A generational mine that in all probability will exceed 30 years with Tier 1 potential of Gold, Copper and Silver. Its priceless...well £1 a share for the company lol. I definitely think it'll all be resolved this year, and the longer the majors leave it the more it will cost them. Personally I'm very happy to sit back and wait for the mother of all bidding wars.
Be careful with posts like that HFH you'll annoy the feck out of needy 🙉
55p soon !!!
Reading the posts this morning.
I thought by some mistake, I had opened lse from 6 years ago.
But no, it was yesterday.
Apparently we're waiting for news, and being sold this year.
But like 6 years ago, not a scrap of evidence to support it.
If I recall sp 6 years ago circa 40p, today 8p
6 years ago I believe the news we were awaiting, was trying to track down a French translater.
I also seem to remember bhp offering 35p a share,. Over 4 x today's price.
I think if sold, big If, we would just about scrape 35p.
Bbg suggests anything from £1 to £2.
Let's see who gets nearest.
nal just ******* off
What an obnoxious pr*ck
Covgas. what's not true
To prove my point about thinking I opened on 6 year old posts. ref waiting for news.
bbg. They must have seen some very strong hands and interest for them to hold back all this news. years ago.
do I also need to repost 6 year old posts, stating were about to be sold.
I rest my case.
nothings altered, apart from SP collapse.
They must have seen some very strong hands and interest for them to hold back all this news.
another from bbg. 6 years ago is telling ,you covgas to bigger off, and that even if you can't believe it, were about to be sold
Adikt. one for you ref a lot going on in the background.
this from years ago, when mm was at the helm.
"I’ve heard through the grapevine that Nick is happy with the progress being made behind the scenes."
4 years ago. a clown on here "heard through the grapevine"
what have they been talking about for at least 4 years.
when you tell us daily things have changed. they most certainly have not on this board
It's funny how certain posters are incapable of differentiating the past from the present and future. They wilfully ignore the significant changes which have occurred over the last 12 months and the positive developments of recent months. They have also completely refused to accept the fact that the new management of the company has fundamentally changed the business, one example being the shift of the axis of power from Australia to Ecuador and Canada.
What contributors to this board may, or may not have said x number of years ago is completely irrelevant - it's what's happening within the company now that matters.
Yesterday's article about Newmont was very interesting, particularly as I think quite a few of us assumed they'd be sellers of the stock. I suppose the fact we weren't on their disposal list was a clue. It was also interesting to note a broker reporting that he was seeing a far greater level of retail interest. One has to wonder why now?
The past is the past, it's over. Our current position is fundamentally different and it's now down to SC and BS to deliver on their promises. Various deadlines are looming and more news flow is a racing certainty.
What's really funny is how certain posters are incapable of using the ignore button.
If you went to the zoo and the sign on the fence said.. 'do not feed the animals'... what would you do? Would you throw them a bone or do as the sign says?
If you ignore them, they will go away. They can't survive without responses... they simply shrivel up and disappear, then reinvent a new alias... and try again.
If you want the BB to be a better place, then do the right thing... use the ignore button. It's also doing them some help as they clearly have mental health issues and no life outside these bb's. So do them a favour... help them... ignore them.
Addicknt
How have those significant changes benefitted you today?
NAL has a point, I remember when BHPs golden hand cuffs were expiring and directors had options at 40p, the sp was in the 30s at this time and everyone was saying BHP will make a bid etc etc and the options will be well in profit, hindsight tells you what happened.
You are correct about one thing though there will be news in Q2 about funding, depending on that news will depend where the SP heads and will give a clue as to the direction of the company going forward…….
Tesla, the building blocks are, at long last, being put in place. That's how it's benefited shareholders., although since you're not one, it's of no relevance to you.
I'm not concerned about today's lamentable sp and am only interested in what emerges over the coming months.
I presume it’s sad little potty mouth producing lots of verbal diarrhoea. So many green 📦 📦
Wonder if the sad little 💩 ever says or does anything positive in their life. He must be awful to live with!
Never a positive word to say on any subject. Definitely not a shareholder.
Paraphrasing Eugene Lewis Fordsworthe, "Assumption is the mother of all ****ups", and this BB is well known for being full of it. All kinds of theories and permutations have been fantasized over in time only to generate disillusion and further grief. The truth all along remains that we just don't know what is really going on in the background and in some cases even SOLG's management may not really know what is going on with the counterparts they engage with.
Just over an hour gone 3m traded
Someone is accumulating....
TheItalian, that's why this board exists. If people limited their comments to company announcements, there wouldn't be an LSE or any other investor bb.
TI
it’s a shame some of your fellow shareholders can’t be as reasoned as yourself.
I suspect they may be more over leveraged than they care to admit.
How someone can post the building blocks have been put in place and the company is in stronger position is at odds with what the market is telling holders and totally ignoring g all the current factors.
Even this morning the board is getting excited over £240k trades and speculating all sorts of fantasies……it is quite amusing.
But apparently non holders aren’t allowed a view
Love the hypocrisy, I suspect you wouldn’t be such a hypocrite if I was posting positive 💩 like BBG, RK1 and DBW.
Tesla lives with his mother in midlands and is a 54 year old virgin.
Such insight from the oracle trading mentor. Keep it up plonker
You're perfectly entitled to an opinion, but why you bother is a complete mystery. Perhaps you don't see just how weird your behaviour is? Don't you have anything else to do with your life?
Despite your interest in the company, the fact you can't understand what's going on at the moment says all we need to know - which is that you appear to get some kind of perverse pleasure from trying to rubbish the company. Very odd behaviour.
Incidentally, what are the 'current factors' you refer to? I guess you haven't bothered reading the last five announcements and the various positive stuff which has appeared in the media. And how about the Presidential validation we received at PDC? Was that all BS?
Are your large losses hurting BYRONRAMPERBAYGOLD…..
Have you worked out how many units you hold after lying about buying and your grasp of English language.
Love it when you get angry………
£50k at 6p doesn’t get you 200k shares……oh dear
🤡
Adikt. sorry to be late getting back old mate.
don't want to appear pedantic. but below is the post from bbg Tuesday.

firstly he says the article is from last July, and I never read it then, let alone now. secondly, can you show me where he states newmont will partner with the china
to bid for solg together. which is what I said.
once again your posts don't pass the fact check.
as I said apologies accepted.
