Seems they are keen to get us to vote for their plans.... wonder why ? lols
Yes, it seems like they're going to need our support. Looks a little desperate to be honest.
'Re-election of all the Directors is critical to the maintenance of SolGold's independence.'
I can smell a takeover and so can Mather
I can't recall seeing too many of these of announcements. It really does read as if they're worried that some of the resolutions will be defeated.
I must admit, it sounds a bit desperate to me too!
Well it could be in our hands, it could all come down to us....lol
I will be voting yes to all the resolutions, I want a big payday, even if it does take longer.
I have learned through capital destruction not to embrace any company in an emotional sense. If SOLG gets taken over at a decent premium then I'm happy. Mather's concerns regarding himself are of zero significance to me
I voted for the boards resolutions through the ii site except for the pay rises. They can get theirs when we get ours. Ned
Agreed Ned, they get their pay rises when they meet self imposed deadlines. I did the same.
Nedk, well said. I will be voting to keep NM on but not increase his pay by 50%.
I think the pi votes will be much closer than some on here are hoping for.
They will. Certainly have my votes no probs there
GLA LTH just on Sp performance alone this year
I think everything will pass except the pay rises, as don't see NCM and BHP voting for the pay rises, and doubt most PI's will.
This doesn't sit how it seems to me.
Small private investors will mean Jack S. To the voting outcomes. I can't see this RNS getting more than 1 maybe 2% of new votes, so why do it?
Is it maybe a push to BHP to pretend solg can get it passed without them so sign and take whatever solg are offering. Otherwise you might lose the vote and get nothing?
NIck, needs to release further info before asking for a pay rise .....
He has continually kept us all in the dark over many months - years with updates ....
It would be nice to see him sweat for a change .
What exactly is a 'good takeover price'? I don't know and I don't believe anyone does either. An offer is what it is
Phattradder, what decade will that takeover be?
Is this were we see a retrace in share price??? Now we know the reason for news being held back! We are going to get bombarded with news now as that (pretty desperate) RNS is out of the way. Get your finger out Mather......lol
Where's the assays? Mather's pleading for our support and yet the share price has done sweet FA in years
phatt
how are we supposed to take you seriously after your prediction for this week?
That’s exactly the point! You wouldn’t got your boss and ask to for massive pay rise without demonstrating your worth to the company .....
He can have his pay rise at £2.55 not 37p
What a strange RNS, that is. The shareholders letter seems almost desperate.
What's going on behind the scenes? How many major shareholders are opposed to the board?
The pay rises are being put forward in place of the confetti options of years past. NM is currently paid enough in my opinion.
NM knows the way to retail PIs hearts and that is to get the share price up before the AGM, as has been discussed on here.
I also think that keeping NM on is the best way to achieve the most for our SOLG shares. Whoever BHP/NCM/CGP want to put in to replace him will be looking after their interests and not ours.
I agree joseph...I have no intention of voting as long as Mather keeps us victims of the mushroom syndrome...
I've had no reply about the CGP statement that the PFS is now Q1 21...
He persistently ramps the shares in presentations and continually misses the deadlines he sets or implies...disgraceful!
Got to be more newsflow leading up to the AGM imho. But I can't deny becoming a little disappointed (again) at the lack of news recently, given what's expected. More respect for shareholders please SOLG .....
