Addicknt, I think I said less attractive rather than uneconomic. From the prospectus:
"In light of the evolving capital cost environment, numerous value enhancing aspects currently being studied and the potential positive impact of these aspects on both capital and operating costs, it is expected that the Cascabel DFS and the Porvenir PEA will be delayed. The Company is proceeding with the Cascabel DFS as the next stage."
I wouldn't be surprised if they've run numbers on the 21% PFS with revised costs and taken pause. The market shrugged its shoulders at the PFS from April '22, with higher capex I can't imagine the result would be much better, though we were told we were looking at various factors to improve the project economics which would mitigate some of the higher cost.
It's all moot anyway as we're hopefully heading towards a sale of sorts. Finally the market might be thinking so too!
Captain hold her steady, I think she's going to blow
Overhang cleared...RNS soon?
Offered 150k at 14.75...liquidity in size again at last...
Decent bought volume...plenty of chunky buys...next big target 16p+...then 19p and off to the races...
Movement today heading into weekend ,next week we might see some decent action
Thats better...just did a dummy trade...firmly bid 14.52 for 400,000...
we need to be up for sale.. or at least ENSA, as our management have proven they are incable of progressing it any further forward.. and if we carry on treading water going nowhere, I could see us eventually losing the exploitation rights for the site... Time is simply not on our side any more..
Popped to 14.72
Flying now....up 8.6%
Red has read something saying we're up for sale. How exciting! And definitely not an unsubstantiated ramp!
Apparently I've joined the long list of people he has 'blocked' (but still communicates with it the flatter him ;) ) Would someone be so good as to call him out on this latest nonsense? He's preempting the SR he doesn't believe is happening (absolute joker)
It tends to bounce very well from these levels. I wouldn't be surprised to see 20p in the very near future, but we shall see!
Could close nearer 15p today...loving really strong this PM...
According to data on 22 Feb blackrock hold a combined amount of 4.16%. This is spread over three funds so maybe why they do not appear on Solg major shareholders list

Happy Its going in the right direction at least, just before the merger finalises
Agreed Orthern price is crap …..just feel it’s going to change very soon
I wont be happy until we are at least over 20p again... rising to 14 or 16 p is nothing to be happy with
Bid speculation
Going to build here very shortly
I see what you did there Add ;-)
Bozi, thanks. In other words you think it's a kitchen sink job?
Addicknt -i haven't looked in detail at this but i suspect, it is at least in part, down to the writing off of the exploration spend at Cascabel that SolGold had carried Cornerstone on.
It also shows that Cornerstone's other interests are too early stage or insubstantial to carry any real weight on the balance sheet.
Basically, SolGold doing all the heavy lifting for the combined group as we knew all along. This is why we were reluctant to see Irwin and co offered anything too enticing to come on board.
Agree Dave …. It’ll pop soon
Totally agree we can't addickt...which is why we're up for sale...but the Chinese could kick it off very quickly, especially as they already have a major presence in Ecuador...
Looking good for a close above 14p today...they can't hold it back forever...
Mind you at 31 Dec 2021 Norges held 0.57%...
