I can see some frustrated investors here as much as i fully sympathetic to them sadly they are the one which lose most as running like a headless chicken without any idea of what is REALLY happening here.
SOLG is perhaps one it the best copper play of its size in the world with a proven gigantic plays this is set to be one of the most wanted copper/metal company around with huge potentials. This company never ever fail because there is always someone wise who understands the value here and willing to invest and make it come good or big boys take over which still a possibilities right now.
So to me this will keep going up from this point and will break through all time historical level (not in stright line but it will happen if you are patient enough)
Next 8 months looks so promising to me and I am expecting to achieve over 40p or close enough.

Orthencopper, NM likes Thursdays !!:):)
not without an offer on the table Bubble
20/25p this week anyone ?,novice half your target?
Yes what was interesting in the YouTube video was also the time frames they were discussing for bringing a find / to a working mine it was crazy
They all agreed everything is really slow in the mining world
So we have to be attractive surely as government are saying that we wil go into construction / production 2024
We’re oven ready lol
You just don't know that, just like the rest of us.
In 2017 we thought we could sell shortly if only NM were more forthcoming and instead he started to push for unachievable prices and alienated the s*** out of everyone.
Since then we have dreamed of having buyers out of the door ready to pull the trigger and instead the entire exploration a nd small mining sector has been crucified, only the majors have flourished and preferred to pay rich dividends instead of being pushed into another spending spree.
We may just not see any strong buying interest here any time soon, not what I hope of course.
It does not mean that if one bidder shows up others might finally wake up, but again there is more aspiration on our side than any serious consideration you or anyone else can make so casually.
Indi,yes you are correct there
The only certainty here is that there are many shareholders all willing to sell (us PIs, the Instis, the Mathers the Irwins, the CGP gang). The existence of a buyer at the negotiating table or more all ready to fight for SOLG is just speculation.
I want to make money out of this (finally!) but you guys tend to be out of control.
If I was a buyer, knowing how much selling pressure there is here, I would sit for another year or two until any price would look like a good price. And in this respect it does not help at all that the company seems to be dismantled and readied for a sale, without an alternative plan to get to DFS and whatever follows.
Management put us in a corner with just one possible positive outcome, dependent on a theoretical buyer not taking advantage of our desperation to sell.
Great, after 9 years of supporting the company with a lot of hard earned money. Then you wander why some end up pumping and dumping...
1981 what a silly comparison.
Not worth commenting further.
Not you as well, Slug. I'm not sure I can go slowly enough for you.
Trying to sell does not mean selling. I could go outside with a shiney new car and offer it for a reasonable price. If there aren't any buyers looking for a new car at the moment, it won't sell. I might have to wait for a buyer to come along, or someone who has seen it to need a new car. That might take a couple of years...
Even for a climate change conspiracy theorist like yourself I think that was pretty easy to understand, right? You might not understand temperature, but you can understand that a sale requires a buyer.

Which posters have said they are unhappy with today's rise? What idiots, if they have, unless they are looking for a low entry. I'm chuffed with any rise- I know my buy in limits and exit points.
So which posters are unhappy, slug?
Blimey, Monte, I'll walk you through this slowly.
We want to sell.
The world knows that.
We don't yet have a buyer as no one has made a TO bid.
WE don't control the timelines. Solg can beg to be taken over (though that wouldn't help the price). It doesn't matter. If there's no bid, there's no sale. WE don't benefit from waiting a year or two, but it's not OUR choice.
Clear? Just relax everyone. Buy something else if you want a quicker return. Don't get too caught up in the baseless hype here.
It you are trying to sell something. You would not usually wait a year would you?
How would WE benefit from that?
You are not invested and here to course trouble. That's it from me with this conversation over and out.
Not sure you've nailed the use of albeit there...
Not lurking - posting, then taking breaks from the stupidity. Today's was worth responding to though,as it hit new lows.
Classic ramping behaviour to attack me rather than my solid argument.
Blimey so 1981Investor has been lurking on the BB of a stock he doesn't own for over a year, WOW that's really quite disturbing . Surely there must be something else he can take an interest in , albeit a mirror.
Did WI put a timescale on a sale? Must have missed that
Sorry 1981 invester
I did not realise you know the timescales down to the last day.
I will take my leads from you from now on.forget WI.
"Trying to sell" doesn't mean there is a buyer.
And by definition future events do tend to get closer, yes... That's how time works.
as we now own*
A sale is closer than it ever has been it now owns 100% of Cascabel, one of the only Tier 1 discoveries not in the hands of a major miner. Our share price is relatively low, and the people running the show have stated that they are looking to monetize Cascabel. Both of these things make a sale more likely.
We are clearly in discussions with an interested party as per Irwin's comments at the copper forum. It's now a case of finding a price that the buyer (probably Jiangxi) is willing to pay, and that our major shareholders are willing to accept.
I think almost everybody on this board, bar copperpot, is in agreement about the sale of Cascabel, with differences relating to timing and nature of sale.
The same rampers on here are as wrong today as they were when they said the same thing 1yr ago.
People here need to understand the difference between wanting a sale and selling. Lots of posters desperate for a TO bid, and claiming it's coming in the next few days/weeks/months. If you understand the situation, you realize it's a bit further off. It will come, but not this year. And rampers will still be here in May, September and January, trying to convince impressionable new readers (and each other!) that a sale is imminent.
Far from selling, Monte, the smart amongst us are adding a little bit more each dip, knowing that a sale will come when the government get desperate and start to threaten licences. It's cheaper to buy solg then wrestle a new license agreement on a now-proven block.
So chill, monte and others. Sell up if you want a quick buck elsewhere. Enjoy the little movements up and down from here. But don't expect anything soon. Maxit might want it, but they still need a buyer...
Sorry for bad grammar. Low battery on phone. Can hardly see the screen.
