DM, have a look at the commentary on takeovers on page 120 of the most recent report and accounts.
Monte even seasoned pros like needalife get it wrong so not sure how he thinks he has the authority to warn others of the pitfalls.
Clearly he hasn't a clue what's going on here.
Bubble. Nobody is invested here for the future, nobody. We are all invested here for a profit.
Monte. I am invested in solg. And might add, since the aim days. I am also heavily invested in stm. Also in Equador. I have high hopes of a profit with solg. More so with stm. I am, and have only ever invested in exploration companies, I have made good profits over the years, and lost small fortunes. Unlike many on here, I am only to well aware of the pitfalls of holding shares in these types of companies and countries. you and others on here, who have only ever held shares in one company, need a dose of realism. There are pitfalls on the horizon. Not insurmountable but pitfalls non the less. And no amount of abuse to people pointing them out will alter it.
Despite all the "balancing" views from needalife funny how he still supposedly decided to invest lol
The pros must outweigh the cons one would presume.
Or more likely he does not hold a single share.
On the subject of big data and its relevance on modern international relationships, warfare and thus markets, listen to this interview to see how it has a primary role to play in the weponisation of commodities and currencies we are now starting to see play out. It's a fascinating and very credible interview;

The answer to spotting important ripples in big spaces is BigData. Enjoy. C
'81. Thanks - and what's a 'full curb' for those not in the know?
Can you also confirm you also fo by the handle @Hubishunter on Twitter? ... Would be nice to conclude my little but of pattern of life and sentiment analysis works ;-) Big data really is fascinating. ATB, C
officemanager , if you can see I picked a fight last night I would say you are the aggressive one. I posted nothing aggressive whatsoever.
1981Investor: And of course none of your posts are vague in the slightest!?
Routable = undone without paying a toxic penalty
This is why I wanted to know if add actually understands corporate action, defence etc. It seems he and others don't. I'm not surprised, given the vague, vacuous nature of his previous posts.
DBW , morning yes demand will far outstrip supply in the coming years imho good time to be invested in an explorer
Am not getting into any debate regarding drug gangs and illegal mining ,this happens all over the world , governments deal with this , Ecuador government have delt with it before this isn't new imho ,good point copperpot the Chinese wouldn't sign a trade deal if they thought they where getting involved in a corrupt drug dealing country imho ,may I suggest you read the current fundamentals of solgold and what they are actually doing to improve everything in Ecuador for all people that's why many of us are invested here for the future
https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/is-this-the-start-of-a-new-golden-age-of-gold-mining-deals
“We may be about to enter a new golden age of gold mining deals as explorers and producers seek to capitalize on higher metal prices and gain exposure to other key minerals, including copper, at a time when consolidation in the gold industry vastly trails that of other metals”
“ M&A can also result in metal diversification—one of Newmont’s stated goals in acquiring Newcrest. Copper currently accounts for roughly 25% of Newcrest’s total net revenue, and the company hopes to increase it to 50% of revenue by the end of the decade. As one of the key minerals in the global transition to renewable energy, copper is poised to surge in price in the coming years as demand far outpaces supply.”
'81 ( Hubris?) ....Intreagued to know more about the 'full-curb' and what the heck 'routable' means to IT guy if you could?
Now we're getting to the point of this board.
( if you could answer in a tone which you would address, say your dear nana whom you love dearly as opposed to your normal tone that would be a good start to the day. )
C.
SM -yet when he is asked to make his point cogently he produces this, whatever on God's green earth it means,
"Someone (can only assume NM but no proof- doesn't matter) entered a full-curb last September (hence that being to origin of confidence)- you can see it in the subs disclosures, if you know how to look. Doubled, at least, but could be more. Numbers show at least 2.1x, suggesting a round number of 3. WI knows this, I assume, bit it's in his interest to blame DD, otherwise his investment drops for at least 8 months. Reality is that short of a full press, no one is buying this before expiration. Hence 2024. "
I've just informed (by telephone) the Chinese Embassy in Quito of all this unruly behaviour by those Albanian chaps! I can honestly say that they were horrified by the reports from this bulletin board. They are looking at rescinding the 'Trade Agreement' promptly! Phew Cor Brimey, who took my call at the Embassy is still reeling from this breaking news! Mr Brimey commented......."how could we have been so dumb to sign a trade agreement"?
Things are looking rosy in the garden when all this stuff pops up!
Yep... Like I said carry on guys its all very entertaining, Hollywood film coming out soon lolzzz...
The irony of someone attempting to ridicule a poster for spending time on a BB where "nothing of value has been posted" on the very same board is not lost on this reader. What a pillock.
I'm surprised Ukraine, Russia, Taiwan and the corrupt Met police aren't being thrown into the non deramping mix
In conclusion I'm trying not to deramp ( whatever that means). But I read on here yesterday that we need to get rid of the infesters, and get back to a balanced board. So this it what I'm doing,. Balancing the ever more rosey posts on here. To point out that there are still rough seas ahead to be dealt with.
Also bubble, equador changed their visitor visa recently. You can now stay 3 months with no visa, and renew 3 monthly.
Albanian gangs wasted no time exploiting this. They have completely taken over the import and distribution of hard drugs. Now run 90% of illegal mines. This is not someone's grandad on a donkey with a spade. These are ruthless vicious maffia gangs who murder and extort and kidnap at will. It's not an unreasonable question to ask if anyone thinks it could hinder investment in equador. I enclose the front page from a leading equador paper.
Ecuador is a sick country with the same symptom in all public and private structures, classified as: hired assassins, drug trafficking, corruption, blackmail, indolence, quemi-importismo, disinformation, violence, kidnappings, terrorism, etc., uncertain future.
Mexico's Citizen Council for Public Safety and Criminal Justice ranked Guayaquil 24th on the list of the most violent cities in 2022.
The government of President Guillermo Lasso has been facing severe criticism from nationals who denounce his failure to address the social and economic woes in the country.
Bubble according to the UN. This is the problem.
First paragraph of UN report on equador.
" Illegal mining and trafficking in precious metals negatively impact peace, stability, security, development, governance, the rule of law, the environment and the economy. Furthermore, illegal mining"
That's not to mention the murders and kidnappings.
What has that got to do with a multi billion pound exploration, seen it all before they always sort it out
"The murders of three young women in Ecuador has cast a spotlight on an explosion of violence in a country which has been brought to its knees by drugs gangs.". Headlines in pb americas
Just been reading about the problems equador has with kidnappings and murders of the countries elite. Not to mention the drug cartels heavy involvement in illegal mining.
Be interested to know what the views are of those far more knowledgeable than me. Bearing in mind it's now the number one murder and kidnapping center of south america. Surpassing Columbia.
